Poll question: Straw Poll: Obama vs. Clinton
Just a simple head count, with all of the debate I just thought I'd gauge support. I didn't add Gore because so far he's not a candidate.

it would be sick if he does become one at the convention as a kompromise between obama and clinton if they should be forever deadlocked. which i hope happens, but gore would them have to abandon his post at Current, to avoid a COI. lets keep our fingers crossed.

It doesn't have to be known lobbyists to spam a sight or use sockpuppets. My point was that you were projecting to begin with. As I wrote, that makes me suspicious off these numbers.

112. I know for sure of Hillary-supporting lobbyists here.
If you want details I can PM you. To be honest I will be surprised if you do want them. It doesn't help your case.

"It doesn't have to be known lobbyists to spam a sight or use sockpuppets."

No, but a lot of time and money to do those things can come from lobbyists.

"My point was that you were projecting to begin with."

Wrong. If I was projecting, I'd spam the board or have multiple accounts. And I don't.

In fact, the known lobbyist in question has accused me of such tactics, specifically claiming that another DUer, one I know personally who lives across the country, is a sockpuppet of mine. I can PM you with details of that, too.

"As I wrote, that makes me suspicious off these numbers."

I don't share your suspicion. Every DU poll between Clinton and Obama has ended up with Obama winning at least 2/3 of the vote. Given Obama's superb online fundraising abilities and a general disdain from Team Clinton for the "nutroots" as they call them, this doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

182. Say What?
Hillary was against NAFTA. This is a known fact that has been reported by the very media who praises Obama. I certainly do not agree with everything my husband does, and I let him know it. Hillary let Bill know how she felt about NAFTA also. She didn't like it. I don't understand all this bashing of a fellow democrat. I came on here to make up my mind - or at least to help make uup my mind, and I see democrats bashing other democrats? Save it for the republicans. They are the enemies. And they are voting for Obama. At least he says they are., He calls them Obama-cans.

That Clinton supporters should leave DU or stop posting?
That DU is now OU?
If he wins the nomination, I'm for Obama. If she wins, I'm for her.
Right now, I'm undecided -- and don't have to decide until April 22.

We are, after all, the Democratic wing of the Democratic party.

And proud of it, I might add.

179. I thought I was on a board for democrats
It appears republicans have invaded. Republicans who hate Hillary and are prepared to post on a board that specifically does not want republican posters. Of course Obama likes to talks about his republican supporters, so I guess it's okay. That is the one thing that has stopped me from coming out for him. His thickness with republican voters who will vote republican in the general election.

There's a reason why the pitch and furor of Hillary supporters has reached insane levels and why every day its been three to one hate obama threads 24/7.

Just as the Greatest page started shifting from "John Edwards '08 Central", it began shifting to anti-O.

(I don't think the two are linked, other than the fact that there were more numerous and more fervent pro-Edwards members, at the time, than the pro-Hillary/anti-O spammers.)
