"Hillary is up 678,000 Democratic votes in the popular vote total" The message from a previous post by Tarmadillo bears repeating. Hillary is ahead in the popular vote, shouldn't the superdelegates back the candidate with the most popular votes?

Absolutely.

1. That message wasn't and isn't true. Re-read it.
Obama is up in Popular votes, Delegate Count, States won.

That piece was talking only about exit polls. Re-read the piece and the responses.

3. I agree. Let's let the race play out, we have 4 months of primaries left
Let's not disenfranchise the rest of the states. Whoever has the popular vote should have that reflected by the superdelgates, regardless of who the candidate is.

5. I think they are trying to divine the "Democrat" votes from the independents and
republicans.

Both are interesting stats.

7. I'm with you.
Let the people decide. Whoever wins the most delegates should be our nominee. We can't let the super delegates change the will of the people. It would make a mockery of the Democratic Party.

9. It would be funny as hell if they did cheat and have the super delegates vote and they picked Obama!
What would Bill and Hill say to that. lol

10. Looks like someone doesn't like how their candidate is doing and now wants a rule change.
Is the way the primaries are setup new to you or something?
