Attn: Edwards supporters... Clinton's SC attack on Edwards.
Here is a nice little robocall clip that someone has posted.

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/2/17/232456/554/875/458819

I hear from time to time from Edwards supporters how vicious Obama's campaign is supposed to be. I am glad that Obama doesn't stoop to these levels. Well, I have a challenge for anyone to find a robocall like this from Obama!! 10,000 cool points will be awarded to whoever finds an Obama robocall that is this blatantly negative.

And just remember...everytime someone on DU flames, God kills a little baby kitten.

1. Obama runs on a new vision for America. Hillary? About how it's gonna benefit her....

9. Their visions are basically the same
The small differences they have are on how to get to the same place. Even on health care Obama shares the same goal and has said, although he doesn't mention this anymore to voters, that he would go to mandates for adults down the road if "necessary."

15. So Hillary's last minute negative robocalls are just a "small difference"????
I think it is a HUGE difference on the character of the candidate.

Clinton camp has clearly lost on this issue, it is the greatest difference between the candidates 'message'.

Of course if character doesn't matter to you...

Well that says a lot too...

It wasn't Hillary.

5. Edwards might endorse Clinton. He might endorse Obama. He might not
endorse at all. He might become a hot dog vendor in Bismarck. He might not.

He might don headbands or gather chums for a hackysack circle or drive west to take a wee-wee off Boulder Dam.

We'll have to wait and see.

I still like him no matter what.

21. Maybe he'll endorse Gore in a brokered convention...
Edited on Mon Feb-18-08 08:47 AM by calipendence
... where the super delegates abstain on the first vote to keep either from a majority, and free them up to all vote for Gore on the second vote. Edwards endorsing Gore might help that scenario!

7. Why did Edwards lose Iowa? Obama's attack mailer played a role
Obama attacks Edwards and Hillary in Iowa for what he would do himself in Nevada. http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2007/12/29/53807...

Obama attacks Edwards and Hillary in Iowa for what he would do himself in Nevada. http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2007/12/29/53807...

Obama takes a page from Rove and attacks Edwards in Iowa on his strength. http://abcnews.go.com/images/Politics/Obama%20Oppo%20on...

Obama attacks Edwards, using the familiar “Edwards is a phony” meme Obamites used on the netroots. “"Part of the problem John would have in a general election is the issues he's taken on now are not the issues or the things that he said four years ago, which always causes problems in general elections," Obama said of Edwards,”
http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2007/12/29/53852...
(To know what Edwards actually said four years ago read http://home.att.net/~midnightflyer/jednc04.html )

Edwards on Obama’s campaign tactics.
Earlier in the debate (this is what Edwards was alluding to. Obama is replying to Hillary):

St. Obama: But when you comb my 4,000 votes in Illinois, choose one...... try to present it in the worst possible light, that does have to be answered. That does have to be answered.

Later in the debate:

EDWARDS: The question is, why would you over 100 times vote present? I mean, every one of us -- every one -- you've criticized Hillary. You've criticized me for our votes.
OBAMA: Right.
EDWARDS: We've cast hundreds and hundreds of votes. What you're criticizing her for, by the way, you've done to us, which is you pick this vote and that vote out of the hundreds that we've cast.
(APPLAUSE)
http://www.cfr.org/publication/15300 /

David Axlerod, Obama’s top adviser, claimed on television that he could not remember anything Edwards had done in the Senate—even though four years earlier he was listing the great things Edwards had done in the Senate when he was working for Edwards. Is his memory that bad or was he lying?

Keep up the good work for the Hillary campaign. I hope they are paying you well. Oh, sorry. That's right...she's running out of cash because no one wants to throw money at a LOSER! :)-

12. To be fair the robocall was an interpretation of fact and admitted by the Clinton Camp. Obama never...
admits anything underhanded he does. He never apologizes for sexist remarks or racist remarks. The snark he directed at Edwards during the last debate would have been considered racist if Edwards had directed it at him.Posting old news like this will not entice former Edwards supporters to drink the Obama cool aid.Sorry.And BTW, there are witnesses to the fact that Obama "bused" kids into caucus in IOWA and the kids admitted they were paid $250 to vote for Obama. That is much worse than any robocall. There were also all kinds of things being done in Nevada and SC by the Obama Camp. The self righteousness of this campaign after it has pulled these stunts is unbelievable.
I do not believe any campaign is squeaky clean but the Obama Campaign rises to new levels of cheating and hypocrisy. They are always the first to point the finger at someone else.

"New levels of cheating and hypocrisy", indeed. And whining about everyone else.

No we haven't forgotten the robocalls. Or all the underhanded crap "The Messiah" Obama has pulled.

22. How dare you call me both a Clinton supporter and a liar? I heard Obama with my own ears
Now maybe he was borrowing someone else's words (RIGHT WING ATTACK DOGS), as is his tendency. But he used the words.

I don't support Hillary. But she's coming across a lot better than Obama right now - and her supporters don't even approach the bullying viciousness of Obama's.

Looks like you struck a nerve...a nerve that wasn't on the HillBot talking points memo. Great catch and a PRIME EXAMPLE of the levels to which the Clintons will stoop to obtain/hold power.

Change candidate, my ass.
