Poll question: What makes you happier? Positive stories abour your candidate or negative ones about the other? |
|
It seems like a lot of supporters of both Clinton and Obama seem to cheer negative stories about the other candidate. Even though we are limited to starting three threads a day we still dedicate a fair amount of our time bashing the other candidate instead of uplifting our own candidate. So What makes you happier?

So far positive stories is way ahead. I have a feeling most people want the positive threads but the ones that seem to enjoy the muck flinging threads either A) not voting or B) being dishonest. I do feel that the muck rakers are a minority in number but the most vocal in posting...x(

2. I LIKE hearing positive stories about Hillary, even though I don't support her. |
|
ESPECIALLY when they come from people who almost exclusively post negatively about Obama. You can win a lot more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.

3. Reading all the negative stuff is just depressing. I like positive stories |

about BOTH candidates. That way I don't feel doomed no matter who wins. :) Unless, it's McLame, of course. :scared:

4. It's very depressing. I could even tolerate all the negativity if the posts were substantive. |

But they're not.
The country is getting OWNED by China and we're mailing out billions of dollars in future borrowed debt to the masses under the guise of "economic stimulus" and the most important thing we have to discuss about the candidates is whether well-known quotes from the same famous American leaders are plagiarism and how the wife of one of the candidates is a misogynist because she a) is propping up her husband and b) thinks having one's house in order is an important thing.
What a cesspool this place has become.

The thing that comforts me is that most people in RL don't pay any attention to this stuff. Otherwise, I'd be worried. ;)

6. Are you speaking of Barack & Michelle here? |
|
That aside, you are right about what is being focused on in these primaries. But then again, primaries are focused at attracting the base and this is what you get when there's so little difference between the two Democrats. For me, Senator Clinton's experience vastly outweighs Obama's. He needs more than just 2 years in the Senate ... one of which has been on the campaign trail! And the state senator experience was just a part time job.
