What about congressional and senate races?
Republicans can still block any legislation at will. They frequently provide the idiot in chief the cover that he needs to veto legislation. See SCHIPS etc.

Was Karl Roves collusion with the Attorney Generals office to oust uncooperative state AG's an effort to firewall against a tidal wave of democratic house and senate victories in 08? Should the democratic candidates be speaking about this?

There are a number of key elections this cycle, and I have not heard one peep from the candidates about this.

The white house without house majorities will result in a hobbled presidency that is not able to put forth a cohesive democratic agenda - no matter which candidate wins.
