I think if the level of discourse in this forum gets any lower...
...we'll officially be wallowing in mud.
To echo Redstone's sentiments last night...to those of you who attack...who exactly do you think you're going to convert?
If I see the same anti-Obama or anti-Hillary thread, just with a different type of attack, posted for the 15th time by the SAME DAMN PERSON, what makes anyone think it's going to be taken seriously? At this point, most people in this forum support one candidate or another. Those who are undecided are unlikely to be swayed by someone who has dedicated their entire career on this forum to attacking Hillary or Obama. I'm sorry, but at this point, I know which usernames and threads to avoid, because I know all I'll read there is insulting nastiness if I even bother to look.
How the hell is this supposed to make anyone think or advance the discussion?
You know what'd be nice to see? Threads about what's good about THEIR candidate that doesn't stoop to attacks. But even those get ruined by fellow supporters who chime in their 2 cents (and throw in some insults for good measure), and supporters of the OTHER candidate who dump all over a positive thread with mockery.
I don't expect anyone to change their behavior. Some of the folk on this forum ENJOY being immature, snarky, and nasty. I know a lot of us are capable of better. Me included.
Just food for thought. Or, if you prefer, blaze away.

6. it's sad, really...i mean, we're supposed to basically fighting for the same causes...
lately, all we're concerned about is fighting each other.
all i see is 'hillary clinton sucks and all her followers are idiots.'
or 'barack obama sucks and all his followers are idiots.'
hey, whatever happened to john mccain? remember him?
how many anti-mccain threads are there?
sigh.

8. Look, if Obama is the nominee...I'll vote for him.
I'll support him. I'll put aside the McClurkin thing and other doubts I have and I'll fully support Obama.

But when I read stuff here about "this isn't your forum, so shut the fuck up" I get pissed at the arrogance of SOME people around here.

So. More people on ignore, I guess.
