In conference call, Clinton-backing Rep. McGovern compares Obama to an “American Idol” contestant |
|
We saw how great the race-baiting strategy worked out for the Clintons. I am guessing this one is going to end up slapping them in the face again. It is quite sad for the Clinton campaign to resort to smear campaigns rather than debate the issues. I just hope an Obama trouncing tomorrow will shut them up again. http://thepage.time.com/2008/02/18/clinton-campaign-calls-obama-a-promise-breaking-rhetoric-lifter/

2. You know what Obama should say in the debate in TX? |
|
He should say something about how he's very disappointed that the Clinton campaign and RNC/McCain seem to be in lockstep in their attacks on him, and as disappointing as it is, it is not to be unexpected from people who believe in the politics of the past. I should contact the Obama campaign and tell them to do that. lol.

If so, this is the man who when announcing why he was supporting Hillary, was because his daughter wants to see a female president.

6. People have been saying that about Obama almost from the beginning. |
|
A lot of it has to do with his flashy rallies. Obama supporters are quick to point out how "good-looking" he is and how well he dresses and how well he speaks. Others notice the adoration of his fans, and compare it to the phenomenon of shows like American Idol.
This is not a new observation. In fact, since it's been so successful for Obama, I expect to see political campaigns in the future resemble Obama's campaign. We have entered a new era.
