Judge for yourself. Watch Obama's "Don't Tell Me Words Don't Matter!" speech
...and decide if it would have been a better speech if he had put in, "As Deval Partrick said" or not.

1. That's the one where he compares Himself to Dr King, FDR, and Jefferson.
They were men of Deeds. Someone should inform Obama he's no Dr King, no FDR, no Jefferson.

2. You tried that one today, already. He was speaking of the power of wrods.
Not comparing himself to the men. You are growing tiresome.

3. MLK's most notable "deeds" were giving great speeches.
I'm not sure what "deed" apart from MLK's speeches you're referring to.

6. Jesus. Get yourself to the library and LEARN something about Dr. King.
Jesus - is THIS the kind of person in love with Obama? Those completely ignorant of recent history?
Heaven help us.

9. I'm not in love with Obama.
I don't like that he would consider more military trials for people who never served in the US military.

I don't like his ties to nuclear power.

I don't like his support for increasing H1B visas.

I'm just trying to give him a fair shake by giving people a link to the controversial speech so that they can decide if Obama should have said, "As Deval Patrick had said" during it. Personally, I think it would have interrupted the rhythm if he mentioned Patrick beforehand. Maybe Obama should have mentioned Patrick aftewards.

14. Whatever. Go get a book. Read it.
'MLK's most notable "deeds" were giving great speeches.'
That's a sad sad statement on the kind of education we're providing for our children.

are you admitting that Clinton insulted MLK, FDR, and Jefferson by saying they didn't matter?

Hillary is saying that the MLK and JFK words were Patricks?

"Just words" were Hillary's words.

I'm lost to this plagiarism claim.

12. I hate to tell you but the word "so" has been previously used by me
This is an unbelievable desperate attempt to get Obama off message the day before an election.

The Clinton campaign has lost its mind if it thinks this is an issue people are going to resonate on.

I just don't think that those who support Obama care about this. I can't see them flocking to Hillary Clinton in droves over it.

13. And did you see the posting here about Clinton's ghost writer for her It Takes a Village book?
Clinton never gave her a mention. I thought Hillary wrote the book and agree with its premise. But to never say a peep about your ghostwriter and then call Obama a plagiarist takes gall.

23. You do know don't you that Clinton denied there ever was a ghostwriter?
And that the publisher finally gave Feinman credit. Only at that point did Hillary acknowledge Feinman's ghostwriting.

Facts are killing your argument. :kick:

Contracting for a ghostwriter isn't dishonest. You just keep on with your 'never give up', OK? You seen to enjoy fantasy.

He's gonna need to do far better against the RW attack machine if he's our candidate than lifting good defenses from other people's speeches. I hope he has it in him to do so.
