Clinton leading in Wisconsin’s Democratic primary: poll
Hillary Clinton leads rival Barack Obama among likely Democratic presidential primary voters in Wisconsin, according to an American Research Group Inc. poll.

Clinton, a US senator from New York, has 49 per cent to 43 per cent for Obama, an Illinois senator, according to the poll conducted February 15-16. Clinton’s lead was wider a week ago at 50 per cent to 41 per cent, American Research said in an e-mailed statement.

Among candidates for the Republican nomination, Arizona Senator John McCain has 46 per cent to 42 per cent for former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, within the margin of error. McCain’s support among likely Republican voters dropped from 51 per cent, while Huckabee, who only had 4 per cent of the likely vote a week ago, benefited from former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney dropping out of the race, American Research said.

Wisconsin voters are slated to cast their primary ballots on February 19. On the Democratic side, 92 delegates will be apportioned based on the number of votes. The 40 Republican delegates will be awarded to the winner of the primary.

To win the Democratic nomination, a candidate has to receive 2,025 delegates. Republicans need 1,191 of 2,380 total delegates to win.

The polls interviewed of 600 likely Democratic primary voters and 600 like Republican voters. Both have a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.

2. Good News
I posted this earlier & took a (sort of) beatin' over it. You know, "Who cares about ARG?" & such.
Still, I think things are not all bad for Hillary, despite Obama's whopping 32 delegate lead.

8. I'm a big clinton supporter so I HATE to say this
but ARG is wrong a lot ... and this poll is probably an outlier. I'd pee if it came true, but lets be honest. Obama has a very good chance in this state. It will be close, chances are he'll beat her. If she can pull of a win, even by one point, that is amazing and may turn around her campaign. I think it is going to come down to who can get the most people out. Can she get 5-10% more of her people out on election day than he can... we'll have to see. That's a LOT of work to do.

9. And what makes this article from Australia so compelling is that they are
so clueless that are not sure we know that Clinton in fact is, "a US senator from New York". lol

ARG polls are useless whether they show your candidate ahead in Wisconsin or behind in Texas here is the link showing Obama losing in Wisconsin and Clinton losing in Texas

http://www.americanresearchgroup.com/

Unlike other pollsters they do not use human operators but computer answering software "If you like Clinton, push one"

23. Press Release: Hillary on Beef Recall (2/17)--good concrete evidence as to why people will vote for
her.

Press Release: Hillary on Beef Recall (2/17)

http://www.hillaryclinton.com/news/release/view/?id=604 ...

2/17/2008
Statement from Hillary Clinton

"The news today of the largest beef recall in our nation’s history is yet another troubling reminder that we have done too little to protect our food supply. This incident also reveals a danger to our children, since the Hallmark company is the second largest supplier to the U.S. School Lunch program. I believe that American families should not have to worry about the safety of the food on their dinner tables or in their children's school lunches. That is why I have long been calling for common-sense - and long-overdue - food safety reforms, building on my work in the Senate. As President, I will fully fund our food safety system so that our inspectors have the resources and manpower they need to do their jobs. I will create a single food safety agency to replace the patchwork of regulation we have now. I will implement an effective recall system so that potentially tainted food immediately comes off grocery store shelves and families receive instant notification. I will strictly enforce safety rules and impose stiff criminal and civil penalties on violators. And I will crack down on the slaughter of sick or injured cows, a practice which poses health risks to families and children. Now more than ever, America needs a President who will deliver concrete reforms that fill the gaps in our food safety system."
