What Specific Part of McCain's Platform Do You Most Object to?
In a recent conversation with a conservative, I realized that the issues I have with John McCain were too vague and general. I need to become more informed about his specific policies and what is wrong with them. Please list your biggest concerns in this thread. Thanks! :hi:

2. Iraq
This war arose out of one man's selfish pride, and it's been nothing but a drain (emothionally/physically/financially) on the rest of this country, and the global community. We should explore our diplomatic options, and bring our troops home quickly and safely. But we also need to step in on a humanitarian basis to help the Iraqis rebuild their country. It's the least we can do, given all that Chimp has seen fit to destroy.

5. His website's worth looking at.
I had the same realization the other day.

Oh, and his views on the sanctity of life are antediluvian. :(

7. I'm personally in favor of "pork barrel spending".

:sarcasm:

What else does he talk about these days?

Specifically, I'm against:
-His plan for Iraq.
-His plan for our economy (particularly with making the Bush tax cuts permanent)

I expect his stance on social issues to shift decidedly to the right (and I'm in no way comfortable with where they stand now).
