Obama on 12-21-07 and the plagiarism 'issue'.....

"But you know in the end, don’t vote your fears. I’m stealing this line from my buddy (Massachusetts Gov.) Deval Patrick who stole a whole bunch of lines from me when he ran for the governorship, but it’s the right one, don’t vote your fears, vote your aspirations. Vote what you believe."

5. It's a shame
His inspiring words are not his own. Nor the manner in which he delivers them. Charletan.

8. I know. I was really shocked when I researched the Patrick campaign...
and David Axelrod, who created the hope & change rhetoric for both Obama and Patrick.

I thought Obama was the real deal, and hard to beat (I'm a Clinton supporter).

9. Yes, it would have been so much better to run on the...
...'I'm the inevitable candidate' that Hillary chose with all of her wisdom and judgment.

11. Hillary NEVER said she was the inevitable candidate. The MSM did.
Show me ONE quote where Hillary said she is the inevitable candidate.

What a crock.

Synopsis for the lazy - Katie Couric interview, November 2007. Couric: 'Will you be disappointed if you aren't the Democratic nominee?' Clinton: 'It will be me.' Couric: 'Have you at least goiven any thought to the possibility that you might not be?' Clinton: 'No, I haven't.'

10. He's guilty. He used Deval's words and used them as his own. He's a fraud. Those "words"
he's so proud of have turned out to be not his. GUILTY AS CHARGED and he has admitted it.

21. He stole the speech and used it as his own.....he never told the audience that it was actually
Deval Patrick's speech. He's a fraud. He said they "always shear speeches/words. THAT is admitting he used Deval's speech. You can't spin this one away. Biden went down for plagiarism in his first Presidential run and it wasn't half as bad as this.

He's running on his WONDERFUL, INSPIRATIONAL speeches and now EVERYONE knows they aren't HIS! I think it's hilarious. He's been exposed.

23. This is BS and you know it, but I was contending your assertion that he admitted anything...you did
not read the piece if you think it was a mea culpa, he was deriding clinton. I wish all the HRC folks the best for the future...there are fewer and fewer and they are more and more virulent.

22. he used Deval's words at Deval's urging NOT GUILTY
It isn't plagerism to use another's words with their permission. Actually since the two have shared a speech writer, it is quite possible to speechwriter re-used language from a good speech.
