that? Why is McCain running neck and neck with Hillary and Obama? I assumed democratic enthusiasium would be somewhat reflected in the national polls. I admit, I am nervous about this whole thing. What with Hillary trying to take Obama down by any means possible, and the right wing galvanizing if Hillary is the nominee, I'm afraid we are hurting our chances in November. And whats impt to me more than anything is having a democrat in the whitehouse come November. Thank you.

it could be because the heavy turnout is split itself. I wouldn't pay much attention to those general election polls if I were you - WAY too far off to mean much.

so these national polls mean nothing anyway. It will come down to electorates in swing states, as it always does.
