VP Question: Should it be someone from the West.. |
|
say, like Napiltano of Arizona or Sebilius of Kansas, Gregoire from Washington State - we can still have a woman VP!
Other thoughts is Schweitzer from Montana, Richardson from New Mexico (Hispanic vote),
Just need someone to represent the West, that's all I'm saying.
Bill Ritter (Colorado) is unavaliable because he's new, and he's busy fixing the Owens mess.

for no particular reason - I liked Dodd a lot - woud be a good balance experience wise, but I think that Gov. is a Republican and we might lose a seat.
I like Richardson, but would rather see him in the cabinet again - once more, for no particular reason.
Would like to see the experience issue addressed in the choice - of the ones you mentioned, I think Richardson is the best western choice.
This is assuming Obama is our choice.
If it is Hillary - who would take it, knowing they would be shut out by Bill? Richardson probably would and wouldn't mind (for a while) being sent all over the world to schmooze alienated leaders while Hill and Bill do the heavy lifting.
