**WISCONSIN PREDICTIONS**
What does everyone think? I believe Hillary is going to squeak out a win tomorrow. It seems like to me that Wisconsin is going to be in the vein as NH voters, as in they dont like the 'inevitable Obama momentum' etc etc, and they will pull a NH and vote Hillary. I personally dont want this to happen, but for some reason I really dont believe the majority of these polls. I hope Im wrong, and maybe some people have some real Wisconsin perspective, but this is my gut feeling.

How does everyone else feel? Something just seems to be in the air right now, I cant quite pinpoint it.

2. I predict that Obama will win handily.
And he will easily take Hawaii.

After tomorrow, he will have a 150+ Delegate lead. Not counting the SuperD's.

40. Obama internal polls show O 53 C 46 last week
Obama campaign manager David Plouffe worked hard to depress expectations for Wisconsin on a conference call today, but it appears that the campaign's internal polling shows that he has a decent lead in the state, 53%-46%.

Of course, that was last week, before Hillary abruptly scheduled new stops in the states and upped her ad buys.

23. I'm not lowering expectations...
If you remember during the Virginia and Maryland primaries I predicted something like 60-33 in both states while alot of people were being gunshy and thought that Obama would actually lose the state. I have confidence in Obama.

But I have a feeling that Hillary's last ditch effort today, in addition to the plagarism smear by Hillary, could put her over the top tommorow. IMO, those who think that Obama is going to beat Hillary by 10+ points tommorow are going to be surprised.

Obama has never won a primary like Wisconsin before. This is a state that Hillary should do well in based on the demographics.

38. While I agree the demographics favor her, Obama will win.
The fact Clinton isn't polling better should alarm most anyone who thinks she'll win. As for what's happened today, if this were to have happened a few days ago, I agree. But generally a story like this 24 hours before an election, unless it's a major development, has little impact on the voters.

Edited on Mon Feb-18-08 10:52 PM by NJSecularist
And combined with the inclement weather yesterday and Hillary's full day of campaigning in Wisconsin today while Obama was nowhere to be seen, I think the state has a chance of going to Hillary.

I think Texas will be extremely close. We probably won't know the results until late that night.

And that's not good news for Team Clinton, even if they do win.

32. A few things to think about
Hillary came in to campaign in Wisconsin late. Obama was on the ground earlier and more completely. According to Randi Rhodes this afternoon, Hillary Clinton had not planned on campaigning in Wisconsin. I don't know how obvious this was to the citizens of Wisconsin.

Wisconsin allows people to walk up, register, and vote. I know my son is moving his registration to Wisconsin tomorrow and voting for Obama.

I'm not predicting anything because this entire primary season has been crazy.

33. Independents will probably swing to Obama.
If there is high turnout among young voters, Independents, blacks, and men, Obama wins it. I think it will be quite close. Just so hard to say given all the variables with this one. Hopefully the Hillary "plagiarism" nonsense won't have an effect.
