I have defected

a couple of weeks ago I switched sides, I even wrote a post about it. However, due to my screenname I still get these weird and sometimes rude responses all the time, and people sometimes misunderstand me because they try to interpret my posts with an assumed Hillary bias, but if I'm biased at all right now it is towards Obama!

Please people, if my name looks familiar to any of you, can you guys try to remember that I am an Obama supporter not a Clinton supporter?

It took me two years to get to 1000 posts, all the time wishing I have a different user name. I finally took the plunge and changed my name last August, and it's taken me this long to get 700+ posts. You've got over 500 in less than a month. Change while you're still young, and just put your old info in your profile so folks know you're not a sockpuppet.

We are barely surviving now after a crippling 7 years of Bush.

Look at our number of ex-pats. People are getting fed up and leaving this country.

We're so afraid of picking the wrong person because, what if we elect Obama as President and we slide further into a recession?

What if we elect Clinton as President and in 2012, we're still in Iraq?

What if we nominate Clinton for economic reasons, but all the Republicans come out in the general election and McCain defeats her?

What if we nominate Obama and he can't defeat the right-wing smear machine and McCain defeats him?

In the end, we all have to weigh the pros and cons and support whoever the nominee is the best we can. I still think it's sad that we don't talk about the issues that matter to us and how our preferred candidate (whoever it may be) addresses them. I guess that would make for boring discussion, though...
