I'm seriously beginning to wonder if the Clintons will be able to handle |
|
it if they are not the nominee. After trying to find out the skinny on this plagiarism thing, I'm still left wondering...:wtf: is the big deal? What have I missed? I've read all the arguments (so far) but Deval Patrick wasn't "victimized" by plagiarism. You'd have thought the man had his house broken into by Obama and the gut of his hard drive stolen by the ridiculous posts about this.
If this is something the press or WE are blowing out of proportion and NOT Hillary's campaign, then I can take a sigh of relief that their campaign has not jumped the shark.
But if they are really crying foul about a speech-no words--from a friend of Obama's, then it reeks of desperation. If they are going to be this petty over something this trite, then I don't think they will be able to handle it if they lose the nomination.
I mean, good grief...this is nuts...

And what is even nuttier, borderline insane... all those who shouted plagiarism and would not stop despite all of the evidence to the contrary.

23. They can handle losing. They always have. Perhaps 2012 is her year. |
|
After McCain screws things up. Even the Hillary haters will be willing to support her. By then, the Obama mania will have blown in the wind.

2. They've suffered 8 defeats in a row. They are going to lose again tomorrow. It's a bad patch of road |
|
As Texas is now evaporating from them, reality is setting in.
I don't think it is Hillary, but Mark Penn and Terry McAuliffe saying 'fire every torpedo' and still wrecking her campaign.
It's too late now for Hillary to fire Mark Penn, but he has overseen the demise of a great candidate. I've never seen anyone fall like she has fallen and I really don't blame her.

5. I am of the premise she was never a very strong candidate to begin with. |
|
Yes, she had big name recognition. But, balance that with her high negatives, her "political viability" IWR vote that backfired and her stubborn refusal to apologize for it, her uninspiring, and, frankly, irritating speaking style, her arrogant attitude going into this race, and her outdated, over-heavy reliance on old school techniques to get money and votes...Doesn't exactly add up to Dream Candidate.

19. I'm gonna give credit to Wisconsin voters on that one...... |
|
Because once anyone actually hears what part of the speech was "copied"......the two words seem pretty small considering the noise. "Just Words" ain't exactly more than much to do about absolutely not a damn thing.
The other words are those of our founders, Dr. King, FDR, etc....
If voters buy this without knowing what was actually said and where it came from, I feel sorry for them.
I think both KO and Larry King did Obama justice on this....and I believe those are the shows that Dem Wisconsin voters watched tonight. Even the Networks are giving Obama a pretty decent shake....
Lou Dobbs was the main asshole in the bunch of pundits that dogged out Obama. Him and wolfie on the Clinton News Network. :eyes:

An open primary
They (the pukes) are equipped with lip stick to put on the pig
That's why in 1984 we were a caucus state here
The Dems opened up the open primary right after that
I thought it was and still think it (the open primary) is a bad idea

41. You Obamanites seem to forget that Hillary has won the votes |
|
of almost as many people as Obama. Do any of you think that he can win the presidency without her supporters?????
There are already plenty of them that are turned off by the "cult" meme of Obama's candidacy and may not vote or even choose to vote for McCain. So, it would behoove the Obama fans to be a little more respectful of senator Clinton.
As for how would the Clintons handle losing the nomination, if it comes to that, they'll be just fine. Hillary is a great senator from NY and she's not up for reelection until 2012. Bill has found a new calling through his foundation and will continue to do a lot of good for thousands of people worldwide.
It is the country I'm more worried about........

They lost big in 1980 in Arkansas and rebounded. If Hillary doesn't get this nomination I'm sure that she and Bill will continue to work positively for the country.
