...bubbles always burst
THE OBAMA BUBBLE
By Kevin Drum

...bubbles always burst, and Obama has been riding a major league bubble for months now. Before too much longer his supporters are going to come down to earth. Reporters will start wondering why Obama doesn't like to talk to them very much — and then they'll get bored and cynical and start doing to him what they did to Howard Dean in 2004. John McCain is going to find his rhythm (though he hasn't yet) and start making some effective jabs.

This backlash meme is already widespread, and you can almost feel in the air that it's about to explode into a feeding frenzy. In other words, it ain't over yet. Wisconsin and the two weeks after it should be interesting, shouldn't they?...http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/archives/individual/2008_02/013151.php

1. Krugman has long since passed inappropriate in his commentary.
It is becoming downright pathologic.

2. Aaah, he's a cynical baby boomer...
who hasn't trusted any politician since 1968. Well that explains so much. He's just another arrogant asshole who thinks he knows better than anybody else, the exact kind of "me me me" baby boomer that I never could stand.

6. Yeah, who needs them, anyway! They should just stay home on Election Day!
They're too old to count! And that "Me, me, ME!" -- why, you never hear that from the Youth of America, now, do you?

Keep crapping on those boomers--they'll start migrating until they find somebody who loves them...he may look a bit like Popeye and bat for the other team, though!

3. One hopes we can always hope for a better time.
As we move toward this more capitalist way of doing every thing I have been hoping like hell we would get some over sight into the mix and fix some of these problems. Just as our 'founders' wanted us to do. I think many have forgot govt. is a service to the people. It is not a corp. It is the service they are selling not the profits. Just look at the housing problems if one does not think we need over-sight. I like the happy way of letting business run as they will with some over sight so they can not drive you right in to the ground for a few at the top. Keeping things as they have been will always feel safe and many will not want to try any thing new. I guess the pop has to get at a set number of people to do that. It may not be there yet.

4. Here's another Clinton crybaby...
...whining, as they have been for months now, how Obama is sure to go down even though he outpolls her and beats her in almost every primary.

Clinton supporters, stop your crying and get in line.

7. I do not shut up and get behind anyone just because they demand it
If Hillary bows out...you Obama supporters better figure out how kiss some ass and quick. I am starting to trend away from support of Obama as my second choice. I am pretty sure I don't like what Obama inspires in people.

5. I would agree, but Obama's no bubble. I remember people here
saying he "peaked" too soon....in December.
