This is what the GOP will talk about in the general election! I am serious about this.. I am not bringing up cult to piss obama people off. Don't you think this whole cult thing will be worse in General Election?? They are already talking about it now..

who see the "cult" of Obama as the figment of the corporate media's imagination that it is--especially with the cult of Hillary acting so much like the cult of Bush.

6. Cults are blind followers
Obama's extra support putting him over the top is Republicans and Independents seeing what he has to offer and joining with him. The antithesis of a cult, free thinkers who are doing what is right.

16. Obama seems a disaster in the Atlanta suburbs
People just shake their heads in disgust when they hear his name. It seems many indies and liberal Republicans were resigned to Hillary winning and going back to the Clinton era but Obama is a scary proposition to most suburban whites. So many suburban whites who were apathetic about the next election are now becoming anti-Obama activists and have backslid into tuning in Boortz, Hannnity and Limbaugh for instructions.

35. The Atlanta suburbs aren't much different than those across America
and this is where Obama's campaign will die. These people were either grudging vote Hillary or stay home and now will be energized by the threat of an unknown black guy with an Islamic name, supported by Hollywood liberals and god knows what else, coming to take their homes, retirements and ruin their families.

43. That hardly seems likely
He won the Atlanta suburbs - 66% - as well as urban Atlanta - 76%. In Georgia overall, which he won 67%-31%, he took every income group and every education group and took the liberal vote, the moderate vote and the conservative vote. Hillary did do better than he among whites, but he did not do badly - 38% white Democrats and white Independents 46%. (Republicans didn't factor in since they only formed 4% of the vote.)

...I'm still debating what I'll do.

and before you start not calling me a real Dem, let me remind you that that is the same bullshit tactic that Repukes were using against people who were against the Iraq war...they weren't real americans.

That said, this article is largely opinion, but it should be a concern, but the problem with Obama-ites is they brush off any criticism as not valid since they don't agree with it.

What possible impact on reality will that have? My advice: Say you won't vote. Or vote 3rd party. Or vote Republican. Whatever. Who the hell cares? In fact, in your case, I'd say it is in your best interest to find another hobby altogether. One that you enjoy and involves less overall whining.

Jim Hightower told me in 2003 that Independents want it all: guns & butter;
but they'll wait 'til the last minute to make up their minds, and it's usually
a single issue the week of the election that cinches it for them.

I said that just sounded stupid to me. Jim Hightower said, "Bingo!"

so hillary should become a republican light!

so obama playing around, can not think, and is`t a big hit with the "wonky centerists"!

Such a nice word once upon a time.Originally meant to grow or tend to.
Now it is used in a slimy way to cast asparagus at someone when you cannot beat them on your own merits.
In other words it is a rightwing talking point being used to brainwash people into thinking they will be brainwashed into some thing sinister if they support the 'cult'.

41. It's just sad to see so many Clinton supporters
reduced to this kind of panic. There is no cult of Obama. There is a strong campaign with strong support. Obama's handling the cult stuff just fine, and there's no reason to think he can't handle it in the GE. No doubt either one of our guys will face a ton of slime, but that's to be expected, and doesn't indicate that either one of them won't be able to fight back successfully.

When the GOP starts to run aids on TV, more media coverage of the word cult, catchy slogans ( like when they made up the word flipflop for Kerry and then we say people dressed up like flipflops om MSNBC during debates) The GOP has lots of money and power they can do whatever they want.People are very impressionable... Look what it has done to the people on DU.. People hate the word cult and being associated with the a cult.. Voters would too..
