2. Yes We Can! is the slogan of the UFW. It has been for DECADES.
It's bothered me for a while that Obama's been co-opting it (I've posted that here before), particularly when the UFW endorsed Hillary.

4. Actually - it's "Si Se Puede"
Which does not translate to exactly "Yes we can",

"Yes We Can" would be "Si, Podemos" in Spanish.

"Si, Se Puede" - translates most accurately to "Yes it can be done" or "Yes One Can" - it is the passive voice in Spanish. (Passive voice = no actualy personal subject in the sentence)

In any case - the desperate part is Mrs. Clinton's campaign trying to make charges of "plagarism" when they themselves borrow much of what she says - even from re-thugs like Pat Buchanan.

6. Si se puede!! is right.
I've been posting it for weeks, hoping to remind people where it came from. Most have no idea.

Cesar Chavez, that's where.

I didn't know Cesar, but I knew and worked with Willie Velasquez registering and the GOTV of Latinos and Latinas in Texas. He was a great one, and died too young. He ran the Southwest Voter Registration and Education Project in the 1970s and 1980s, and I had the privilege of working with him to register 300,000 in Texas. Teddy was great and helped us with appearances.

9. Cheers!

Bob held a press conference and told the media it's okay that Barack shares his positive message and vision; encourages Obama to continue to build on Yes We Can!

Plagiarism ... LOL!!!!!

Everytime the Clintons throw the mud it only gets them dirtier!
