Hillary would not have any delegate math left to save her campaign's sinking ship.
Just maybe, March 5th will begin the RE-unification of the Democratic party.

4. I think the campaign underestimated Obama from the start |
|
They did not adjust their strategy soon enough to take into account all of his wins in those caucus states. To depend on winning just large states was not a good strategy, imo.
I don't think the firewall will hold because it appears Sen. Obama is now gaining support across all demographics.
If Edwards endorses Obama, the Steelworkers in Pgh. will go for Obama in April.

9. Because many people like to vote for those they think will win. |
|
May not be the main reason, but it's a part of the decision process. While WI's primary may not change the delegate count all that much, it gives the winner an extra 5% in TX, and so on, and...

They called NH a firewall.
They lost the initiative in Iowa, and there the nomination, IMO.

11. Because she needs to win both by at least 60-65% |
|
And that ain't gonna happen. The polls, in fact, are showing that she might actually lose both states.

14. She needs a miracle to win at this point. |
|
Not only does she need to win both Texas and Ohio, but she needs to win by enormous landslides. I'm talking 30 points.
She might be able to win by 5 points or so if she gets her act together and stops making herself look nasty and petty, but she's not going to pull off 30.
If she loses either of those two states, it's time to bow out.

Her campaign has been a national tragedy. I've heard rumors of erecting a memorial for it somewhere in the swamplands of Florida.

but with grave misgivings. I wanted to vote "maybe" but that wasn't the option. "Maybe" better explains how I feel. Hillary can't be underestimated. She MIGHT actually pull this thing off, and if she does she is brilliant. I also think there is a good chance this will fail horribly, and if it does I am fully prepared to support Obama. I have already been defending him to many people, including my republican family who can't stand him and want Hillary (Claiming they'd even consider voting for her.... though they REALLY wanted Edwards first)... so I have had plenty of practice standing up for him and don't mind it at all. I just hope that my girl can squeek this one out, but do so in a fair and just manner.

I am ready to support Obama if Hillary does not take OH and TX.
If she does not, I hope she will drop out of the race, and I hope she and Barack can work together in a JFK/LBJ sort of way.... to get things done.

...she needs a huge win to win a majority of delegates and when Obama campaigns in a state, he closes the gap.

I try not to listen to too many Republicans but I was just told by a friend here in Texas that her and her fellow Republican husband plan to vote for Hillary because they think McCain can easily beat her in the general election. They fear Obama. While I am a firm Obama supporter and hope to see him take Texas, I can't help but smile a little at the thought of 2 die hard Repubs casting a vote for a Dem...especially a Clinton. : )

she's behind by at best (for her) 150 pledged delegates and supers are in fact bleeding away from her. Also her margins in those states, esp. Texas, are shrinking to below 10%, well short of the 3-1 margins she needs in BOTH states to erase Obama's pledged delegate lead.
