Is NBC pro-Obama?
They were the first major news network to declare Obama ahead in delegate count. Today they interviewed someone from an anti-Hillary group (http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x4661388).
They also ran a segment that blasted Hillary's claims of plagiarism (http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x4652016).

Also, they cover the elections more than other networks, ever since Obama started pulling ahead. Is it just me or are they clearly in favor of Obama over Hillary?

21. How could a pundit ignore a gaffe like Michelle's? Cindy MCCain has already
put an exclamation point on Mrs. Obama's remark by declaring "I've always been very proud of my country".

35. I'd like to ask old Cindy how proud she was when the Abu Ghraib
pictures came out. She's a Stepford Wife at best. If she's going to insert herself into the mix, then it's time to start talking about Cindy's "good old days."

but when I do watch, I notice an anti-Hillary trend. Since I am an Obama cultist, I don't think I would notice this if it didn't exist. Oh well, I've been wrong before.

7. I'd have to agree
NBC has been pro-obama since Iowa. The slant is very clear. Look at what Chris Matthews, Mika whatever her name is, and Joe Scarborough do on a daily basis. Talk up Obama and basically crap on Hillary. It's shameless and although I hate to say it Fox News seems to be more fair in coverage so far this primary season. I only watch CNN or Fox for updates, MSNBC has gone all in with Obama, and we'll see how that works out in the long run.

why do so many people watch this stuff? They are totally not credible, and have been proven so time and time again! These talk shows are just that talk. Do people take what they say seriously?

19. Sort of
Edited on Tue Feb-19-08 03:51 PM by I Vote In Pittsburgh
but I think NBC is more pro-Obama than CNN is pro-Hillary. CNN was a bit shady with their delegate math early on, but nothing like the New York Times (which still has Hillary ahead in delegates...).

32. I would.
Are you actually trying to defend David Shuster? I wonder, if the Clinton's child were a young man, would he have used the same term?

Eugene Robinson did not like it when the Clintons first mentioned MLK. "He is ours," he said.

And I "told" him: no, he is "ours" - he belongs to all of us, black and white, hispancis and Asians for allowing us to look ourselves in the mirror without shame. He is an American hero who belongs to all of us, not only to blacks.

24. Is the Pope Catholic?
NBC is part of the MSNBC/Newsweek where they are not even trying to hide their swooning over Obama.

Listen to Olberman's guests, read Jonathan Alter's columns in Newsweek, heck, look at the coronation issue that came after Iowa and that I read as the results of New Hampshire were being reported.

And, of course, the "great" Tim Russert.

38. Nonpublic TV is biased...
toward Obama at the moment, because he's giving them big ratings. At the beginning of the primaries, a CNN reporter said "this is what we live for!" and how he was hoping it would come down to a fight on the Democratic Party convention floor, because nothing would be better for the ratings than that.

They're in the money business.
