4. Keep trying
You just look more and more pathetic.

You'll be living under Obama's administration soon so you may as well join us...though from reading your posts I'd hate to think someone like you would vote for the same candidate as someone like me.

It has nothing to do with Obama.

21. I'd put him on ignore, but I find the consistent
lack of insight entertaining. It will be fun to watch them post up to the general election.

10. Wow.. i think we may see some strange results tonight...
Mike Burlingame, a 48-year-old corrections officer, is a Mike Huckabee supporter who voted for Hillary Clinton at Lincoln Elementary School in Cudahy.

Here's his reasoning: He really doesn't want Barack Obama. He thinks his vote would be wasted on Huckabee, so he's crossing over and voting for Clinton though he plans to vote for McCain in November.

**********************************

Take Audrey Murray, a 74-year-old registered Republican. She said she voted for Barack Obama at Glenwood Elementary School in Greenfield - but not because she likes him.

"I don't want to see Barack Obama get elected president," said Murray, a retired banker. "I don't want to see Hillary Clinton anywhere near the election."

***********************************

At West Allis Central High School, Paul Haseler, 86, and his wife, Evelyn, 87, who both voted for George W. Bush in the last two elections, said they, too, both voted for Obama.

"I think we're just fed up with what they (the Republicans) have been offering us," Paul Haseler said. "It's time for a change."

***********************************

Abortion rights was the deciding issue for Mary Pennock, a 59-year-old Milwaukee Housing Authority employee.

Pennock, who voted at Neeskara Elementary School in Washington Heights, said, "It was funny. I kind of knew who I would vote for."

But when she learned on Sunday that McCain did not support abortion rights, she changed her mind and decided to vote for Hillary Clinton.

"I like McCain a lot, but that swayed me," she said.

***********************************

Wow.. not sure it looks like quite a few are voting "against" one candidate, or for someone else now, so they can vote against them later. Looks like the Cheeseheads have quite a strategy going right now... not sure how it's going to play out though!

11. this response is my favorite so far:
Update 2:28 pm: Obama supporters can relax, because the Obama volunteers are not. They are mad men/women. Just off the phone with Obama HQ in Madison. Some facts:

- Entire City of Madison was hit with lit Saturday - They're doing it again today; F&^* the cold, hitting the Isthmus and campus. - Students do not vote early; they vote when they want, between classes and beers. - Obama HQ on Gilman St. on UW Campus, ran out of phones (too many volunteers), and people used their cell phones to call lists of people. - Cold out (five degrees), but staff is manning an outside tent in Library mall until they drop or the polls close. - Staff is more hyper than I - Obama has been through their phone lists, so they have begun calling the lists again

This may be Madison-centric, but from here nothing can stop the Obama train; because there is no quit in these people. Wow! I'm 40-something; was I that freaking nuts when I was 20?

14. I'm hearing Voting on Campus in Madison is steady and swift, and Milwaukee schools have high turnout
http://blogs.wispolitics.com/election/2008/02/milwaukee-students-turning-out-in-big.html

http://blogs.jsonline.com/allpoliticswatch/archive/2008/02/19/campus-turnout-is-swift-and-steady.aspx

I went to my precinct at around 3:30 PM with my friend. There were about 10 people in there registering. I live off campus but I live in a heavily college student populated area. The woman at the poll said that turnout was poor. However, just as soon as she said that, about 20-30 people streamed in in the next 10 minutes. My Precinct should pick up as people's classes are over the day, but I can vouch that all over campus (On campus), there is solid turnout that favors Obama.

would it be okay for me to tell you to take your Sea Breeze and showers and stick 'em

(I just got 6 feet of snow from the street dumped on my already clean side walk--I'm not into Sea Breezes right now :)

19. I'm concerned for you ... What if the temperature dips ... below 68 degrees!?!?
No one can possibly be expected to vote under those conditions! ... *wrings hands* :scared:
