Not surprised.
Any campaign that would use an opponent's kindergarten essay, "I want to become President" against him, mine that opponent's autobiography for youthful indescretions to exploit (teenage drug use), imply that opponent may be viewed in the GE as a "drug dealer", remind voters that his middle name is "Hussein", use racial divison as a leverage to boost their side, and now go trawling through their opponent's speeches with a highlighter to play "gotcha!" while they co-opt his slogans and "change" mantra.... what's next? What WON'T they do to win? Can't they win by being the BETTER candidate? Who does that remind you of?

This guy?

1. This BS is gonna backfire big time. She's becoming more and more
polarizing and hateful with each day. Can't wait for results tonight.

or it's supposed to be. I wonder, outside the small sphere of political junkies, does this "plaigerism" story resonate? Or do people just hear it and say, "Who cares, Hillary must be desperate". I hope it's the latter, of course.

3. Politics have always been so...
And there have been whiners always too.

Do yourself a favor and read a little about the presidential campaigns of the 1800's! Nothing has changed except that news gets around a lot faster now, and the drugs of choice are more varied. Cocaine was legal back then, as was lithium... and Mary Jane.

6. Lithium won't do much for you
unless you're bipolar. Did you mean opium?

7. A lot of what we now think of as antipsychotics...
were available over the counter. Lithium wasn't identified as such until an Australian wrote about it in the late 1940's. It was used for gout before that... and anxiety. It has a profound effect on dopamine levels. People used it to get high... like black market Haldol and other drugs now.

4. Now I hope more realize the backstabbing of Gore and Kerry was REAL because this is
who they REALLY are when their moves are more public.

Imagine what Gore and Kerry were experiencing when all TeamClinton's moves against them were behind the scenes away from public view.

All the Dem party operatives and spokespeople had been groomed for TeamClinton since 1993.

All schooled in how to defend Clintons but none schooled in nurturing the PARTY and strengthening it.

If it hadn't been for grassroots wresting control in 2004-2005 the entire party would be sinking along with TeamClinton now.

As long as they were behind the scenes doing their backstabbing of Dems it could work for them because the Dem VOTERS didn't see it or know about the undermining.

But now MANY of us DO know - and won't let them control our party any longer.

5. IMO, the 'he/she's attacking me whining is getting old'
On the kindergarten thing, it was in the context of a timeline of Obama's indicating he wanted to run for/be President ... http://www.hillaryclinton.com/news/release/view/?id=4470

Now, were I to take the same tactic with regard to Obama's 'attacks', I'd say something like:
"Obama, taking a page straight from the New Republic ATTACKS Hillary's plan to save homes for Americans"
http://facts.hillaryhub.com/archive/?id=6072

Now, being politically active since McGovern, I personally don't see either as attacks in the vitriolic Karl Rove-GOP sense of the world. And, if either of these candidates REALLY think these are "attacks" and get that upset by them, they'll need to grow some thicker skin, quick, or neither will be ready for GE-time and the GOP!

---------------------------------

BTW, before 'Gentlemen John Edwards' (I was a supporter) dropped out, he was accused of 'attacking', by both BO and HC, too:

"John Edwards' New Attacks and Shifting Rhetoric on ''Fighting''
http://factcheck.barackobama.com/factcheck2/2007/12/

"Sen. Edwards Attacks Hillary on Social Security"
