Obama Press Secretary Bill Burton gives a hint of Wisconsin results...
Hint, Hint

Exit polls are circulating, and you can guess what they say based on this release just out from Obama press secretary Bill Burton:

Wisconsin is almost the kind of state Hillary Rodham Clinton would have invented to win a Democratic presidential primary, brimming with whites and working class voters who usually support her. A poor performance there Tuesday would raise big questions about her candidacy.

You don't send something like that out a few hours before an expected defeat--or even a close call, I should think.

This would square with what Mike Allen is hearing from party insiders.

1. Unless you want to "raise big questions about her candidacy".
Which he most certainly wants to do.

They know.

Now the downplaying that the Clinton campaign has been doing all day...that shit is for realz. That has been all about salvaging delegates, without a whiff of what a "profound comeback" this would be.

That should tell you something.

2. Tweety just said: "What would happen if Hillary pulled an upset tonight", which kind of
gave me a shiver, thinking he knew something or thought he knew something from the exit polls.

8. .
This will be another quick call, IMO. I hope I'm not wrong, but I'll be big enough to admit it if I am.

12. I heard that exact statement, word for word, from a CNN reporter
on the Situation Room well over an hour ago. First they had one or two people say something about how Clinton winning, or even coming close, would be a real shot in the arm for her campaign, and then the reporter ended the segment with "Of course..." followed by that blurb.

It seems far more likely to me that the reporter used wording from an Obama Press Release to pass as her own analysis, than it is that the Obama campaign would rip off the CNN reporter's verbal comments. Press Releases do go from campaigns to the media after all.

There is something disturbing about this.
