16. Yeah
You know, I don't mind her staying in if she's got a chance and they're being constructive, but both getting negative is going to end up hurting us, and she needs to realize she doesn't have much of a chance. When Obama has a chance to campaign in person, he wins.

Oh well, let's try to stay positive now, and fight by fighting McCain, enough of the "words", let's focus on how each of them would Roast McCain/Bush in 2008.

but at this point it's really about momentum, and she sees the writing on the wall. I don't begrudge her staying in, but I was actually 1/2 expecting her to drop.

I just hope she changes the tune to who will be better against McCain and who will reverse George Jr. better, not party-tearing attacks.

43. Close, not really
Clinton would have to win every single state by a 60%+ margin in order to win the nomination. There's not a bookie in the world who would take that bet without some triple digit odds.

All Hillary is doing now is hurting the party, stooping to dirty politics and tearing the party apart. That says to me that she's in this now more for her own ego than for the good of the party and the good of the nation.

53. Getting real is looking at the fact that she's lost the last 9 states
Obama's won 23 states, and she's won 13, including Michigan and Florida.

She hasn't won anything since Super Tuesday, and her loss tonight has been the only loss since then that wasn't by over 20 points.

She's only beat him by over 20 points in two states: Oklahoma and Arkansas. 6 of her states she's beat him by 10 or fewer points.

http://politics.nytimes.com/election-guide/2008/results/demmap/

I think the writing is on the wall.

Make fun, if it's what your heart desires. Obama is now the official frontrunner, McCain is the presumptive GOP nominee. The MSM will now do its GOP-owned job and begin their inexorable agenda of death of Obama's momentum by a thousand cuts.

52. Yes. On to Texas and Ohio.
You Obamatrons have at least two more weeks to kick us around. The Democratic Party has two weeks left to decide whether we want a nominee of our own, or whether we want to award our nomination to a content-free, hype-heavy "post-partisan" hip caesarist that he might ride it to the White House -- of Obama, by Obama and for Obama.

Two crucial weeks.

59. If it comes to it, I'll vote for Obama.
The Dems have the advantage this year either way. If it's Hillary, she'll win, by taking all the Kerry states plus Florida and/or Ohio. If it's Obama, he may win big -- or he may lose big. Given his campaign inexperience and tendency towards gaffes (the Snub, the plagarism, the spousal Anti-Americanism, etc.) as well as the increasingly short shelf-life for hype in today's world (if they come out with a new Xbox in September, the kiddies will forget the O-man) I really don't want to take the chance. Hillary will beat McCain. Obama may whomp McCain -- or he might be whomped.

Plus, of course, if we elect this hopped-up Caesarist to the presidency, owing nothing to anyone or anything but to David Axelrod, Oprah Winfrey and his own wonderfulness -- we're not electing a Democrat we can count on: we're electing a meteor, we're electing a phenomenon, we're electing a "post-partisan" free agent.

Sure, I'll vote for him if it comes to it, but God I hope it doesn't come to that.

if her campaign knew she was going to lose...they'd bow out graciously...right about now. She'd look like the "bigger" person, even if it was clear she wsn't going to make it first to the finish.

If she stays in...there's a good reason for it, that they believe they can pull it out, or there are other machinations at work.
Cause if she has to exit later without looking desperate... Bill will have to have some sort of health scare.
