A question for Clinton supporters.
If experience counts for so much and a reflection of who would be the most effective executive, why is Sen. Experience having such a difficult time maintaining her "inevitability" against Sen. Newbie?

Empirically, her campaign is showing us the exact opposite of what she is touting she has over Obama.

2. The poor management of her campaign is evidence of her lack of organizational skills.
She was out of money at Iowa despite massive contributions.

Doesn't speak much for her ability to run the country

4. Too many of us are apparently easily swayed by
hopes, dreams, wishes, and rainbows. I think the experience issue will come into play more when our nominee goes up against McCain.

in them.

8. Because you feel the need to taunt. In other words, look in a mirror
As it was in the 60's, the candidate isn't responsible for his supporters, but the consequences must be evaluated.

9. Hardly a taunt....it's a statement of fact. By all rights, she should have locked this up.
She had literally everything going for her: Name recognition, plenty of funds, the party rank and file....

What the fuck happened?

22. Scatological language isn't suitable for civil discourse, but in fact
she's exactly where she should - Obama is the one who lied going into the senate and ended up upsetting everyone else's plans. But this is American Idol nation, so enjoy your show. And yes, be careful what you wish for ... as for HRC, I'm delighted that even if she fails to capture the nomination this time, she will remain my senator.

13. Bitter much?
Clinton supporters seem to be acting with a sense of entitlement and when someone asks a simple question about why she isn't mopping the floor up with the Johnny-Come-Lately candidate, it's taken as being a dick?

Give me a break.

14. Nope
I've said for months that I'm sitting pretty - I like both candidates.

However, the supporters are another story. Some of them are real dicks.

17. Yeah, I've been such a dick that until yesterday, I would happily voted for either.
And this is the very first thread I have started about the primaries.

Yeah...I'm a real dick.

20. I'm sorry you feel so bitter about genuine curiosity.
Obama's success in the primaries is stunning given all the advantages Clinton had going into this.

So I was hoping maybe I could get some insight into how things turned around. Was it that Clinton ran a bad campaign? Was it that Obama ran a better campaign?
Was it Diebold? Was it that Clinton didn't find a way to resonate with the majority of voters?

If you don't want to offer your insights then please don't vent your disappointment at me. I only had a single vote at my caucus.

...but she is the one person who can beat the entire republican noise machine?

15. Two big mistakes.
1) Hillary apparently didn't do oppo research on Obama. Had she caught the Obama/Patrick campaign cloning before Iowa or shortly thereafter, she would have won the nomination by Super Tuesday.

2) She did not play the demagogue. Perhaps she couldn't even if she wanted to.

So yes, it is apparent that Hillary's campaign style actually was the "meat loaf" it appeared to be. She's not a cunning dirty trickster; she's just a serious person going after a serious job. And that doesn't work in Democratic politics at the moment. A whole bunch of people in our party are really desperate, hungry, and emotionally raw. They wanted something she could not give them.

I still don't think it is over. The campaign cloning issue has stopped Obama's propeller. He's climbing on momentum right now. A few more of these side-by-side Patrick cloning videos could show up. I don't think people fully appreciate what was done.
