7. That's the mis-statement of he century! Real Dems as in far left? the far left
will fail miserably in this country just like the far right, because the dynamics of this country are in the center. Every poll will tell you that.

45. The "right thing"? Why is Hillary the "right" thing and no one
else is? Look, I supported Hillary in the beginning. But it is simply over for her. If she really cared about our party she would graciously concede defeat and start to work in the GE. Not that I think Obama needs it.

46. Yes. It's really a no-win situation for Hill no matter what
happens. First, she believed she was "inevitable". All that misery she suffered with Bill was going to finally pay off. She put all of her efforts into it, believing it would be all over by Super Tuesday. Bad miscalculation. Plus, minorities (especially blacks) have always supported the "first black president" and Hillary and they never counted on an actual charismatic black running against them. Plus she thought she had the women firmly behind her (she doesn't). Obama is cutting into every demographic she thought she had sewed up.

She also didn't give enough weight to the people that truly cannot abide her. And last, if by some miracle she wrestled the nomination away from Obama (think court) she still loses because so many would cross over and vote against her just for spite.

As I have said before I hope she has the class to graciously lose before we all get hurt.

11. Cut into it? Look:
Wisconsin Exit Polls:
Obama Won:
Women (51-49)
All age groups under 65
All education levels
All regions of the state -- urban, suburban and rural
Voters without college degrees (50-48)
Democrats (50-49)
Whites (53-46)
White men (59-38)
Voters who decided in the last week (58-42)

Won or tied voters of all income levels
Tied among white women
Tied among union members
Tied among union households

It is time for all to realize that it is impossible for Hillary to win. She would have to win Ohio and Texas by thirty percent or more, and even then it might not be enough. Not even considering that Texas is looking like a no go for her. Ohio is not going to give her enough delegates.

So the question is: Will she quit for the good of our party or will she continue to drag it out............. It is really sad. I used to support Hillary and defended her and the Clintons against ALL comers. But now I really and truly believe she will not let go unless she is forced to.............

If he continues with the demographics of the above, what can possibly save her? Nothing.

14. Relax. It isn't hurting Obama at all.
It only seems to make him stronger. I mean, look at what has happened in the past week. She was polling 20 points ahead in bother OH and TX and now is almost at parity. By the time those states vote, Obama will win in a landslide.

And the people who Hillary is stirring up for Obama will remain active to vote in November. She is HELPING Obama, not hurting him.

She is not helping HILLARY very much though, so she will "do a Mitt" shortly. She will stop the sending good money after bad in TX and OH and then bow out after that spanking.

27. I won't go that far
But I don't want her to keep campaigning by tearing Obama down if it won't help her win the margins she needs and I don't see how you get 65-70% by ramping up the negatives. that can get you to 52 or 53% on a good day, but if she gets that, she still loses the delegate race.

Hillary needs to drop out now with as much grace as she can muster. She is only helping McCain from here on out. If she persists in her futile campaign she will become a pariah in the democratic party.

Hillary needs to get behind the next President of the United States, Barack Obama!

59. Keep an eye on her donations.
My prediction is that the big donors are going to get tired of throwing money at Hillary and getting defeat.

Her donations are going to slow down drastically, while Obama's going to continue to raise huge amounts of cash. And the big donors aren't going to want to throw away tens or hundreds of thousands at this point - they're cutting off her credit card.

It's only a matter time now before she runs out of gas.

Reply given by the American commander of Bastogne in 1944 to a call to surrender by the encircling Germans. Also applicable here.
Things must have seemed bleak to the Americans freezing in the Ardennes snow. A few weeks later their position was relieved and the Germans sent packing.
