Having said that, I know how the Hillary supporters are feeling tonight. My first choice was Edwards this round and I've felt the pain of loss and in the end the blow of losing a dream.

I'm going to have a hard time working for Obama in the GE, not because of him, but rather because of the extreme negativity I now have at the mere mention of his name. The posts have become so nasty they have driven away many of us. Personally, I cringe when I see his name now. He doesn't inspire hope in me, I don't believe his pretty words and because of that I am some sort of pariah... sigh.... are the damn primaries almost over because I am emotionally and mentally exaughsted.

In the end I will work for and support whomever is chosen, because I love my Party and my Country and the stakes are just too damn high.

Here on DU...I can't say as I will be prone to hugging many Obama supporters after the events of the last few months.

I would expect some Obama supporters to feel the same way about the Hillary supporters behaving badly on this side.

The last two weeks.... I have seen some pretty ugly things being said by what I thought were some pretty good people.

I am disillusioned and saddened at how far DU has fallen.

There need to be more positive threads like this one in this forum, and I'm glad you started this one. I'm not really supporting either candidate, but in the GE, I will support whoever wins the Dem nomination. We are on the same side, and our common enemy (read: McCain) should be clear.
