Hillary Clinton may be down, but she's not out... |
|
I'm starting to hear some people proclaiming that tonight is the final straw for the Clinton campaign. Come on.
Yes, I'm a critic of Hillary's. Yes, I've had (and still have) problems with some of her policies. But no, Hillary Rodham Clinton isn't through by a damn site.
We're still waiting for polls to close in Hawaii, and then there's Texas and Ohio on March 4. Then we'll have a much clearer picture of how the race goes down in Denver. It may be tooth-and-nail all the way up to the Democratic National Convention.
So, if you're a Clinton supporter, don't throw in the towel just yet.

3. Unless Obama suddenly rips off his human mask... it's over. |

Hillary cannot win this. Obama's going to have to lose it. And I gotta think that anything that could disqualify him would already have been dug up by the Clinton machine.

4. nope, not over by a long shot |

I think the Plagiarism Press may dog Barack -- Gallup tracking saw his number "vaporize" and even up with Clinton overnight when the story hit the news -- and, if his authenticity is questioned, the voters in the remaining States may begin to question every other thing about him. Without a long list of accomplishments, his rhetoric may sound hollow and Hillary might look better and better.
At least with Hillary, you basically know what you're getting whether you like it or not. Smartly, she never climbed up onto the pedestal knowing full well how slippery those things are and how far the fall can be. And she realized from the get-go that a halo would never suit her, so she left it on the store shelf and left with her bag bulging with policy books instead.
Nah, this race ain't over.

That's what she needs to have a prayer.
She barely did that in NY (57-40). Does anyone really believe at this point plagiarism attacks are going to get her that in OH or TX?

6. I respect and admire Hillary, but she has yet to beat Obama in a "One on One" caucus or primary |
|
and I see no indication that the trend will continue.
She has all the right in the world to stay in the race, but I really don't think she stands a chance to become the nominee.

Perhaps I'm not understanding what you mean. Wasn't Edwards out by that time?

11. Yeah, she is. She's through. She'll lose Texas as well, |
|
and that makes Ohio practically meaningless.
