Hillary could pull out a "win" after all |
|
In the Washington State primary (having no effect on delegate selection) she's leading 49-48%
nb - even in an inconsequential primary, the Dems or whomping the republicans in turnout...

I'm so confused and hungry--I thought the WA primary was for the GOP only.

4. There's a "beauty contest" primary for Dems |
|
State laws require a primary, so we have this entirely non-counting primary going on.

25. Why not? Caucuses are bogus, even if that's where the delgates were chosen |
|
It's an archaic 19th Century process that disenfranchises large portions of the population, is amenable to out of state (or out of party) manipulation and favors the candidate with the most enthusiastic (not the most) supporters.

3. Even though it doesn't count, I'd bet there's higher turnout for this "inconsquential primary" |
|
than for the Obamacaucus in Washington earlier.

18. Yeah, obsessed with the voters in non-contests. Couldn't give a fuck about red-state Dem voters, |
|
Dem caucus voters, or independent voters, though.

9. Over 200,000 votes cast with 75% of precincts left |
|
This doesn't officially count but the will of voters is always important. This is more legit than the caucus they had with 500 people.

As a Washingtonian - I already participated in the caucuses.
The primary on the Dems side is a beauty contest that does not reflect many of us who already participated in the OFFICIALLY recognized process. I did not vote. Why vote at all - it DOES NOT COUNT.
The only reason anybody is voting is the pukes DO COUNT their primary and all names still appear on the ballots. Why? Ask the Secretary of State here in WA??? Yea, it's fucked up.
It is confusing that each state party does it differently; but please don't suggest this vote is more legit than the legit caucuses.

|
I was very active in the caucuses and nobody I know is voting in this bullshit Dem primary that DOES NOT COUNT! It is nothing more than a beauty contest and not many Dems are playing.
In only "counts" on the puke side.
Weird - yes. Each party has their own process.

IGNORE the Dem primary vote - it does not count nor does it reflect the public sentiment.
Most of us Dems are not bothering to vote - it means exactly ZERO.
