And the crowd ROARED for him! I think the loudest it got during the speech was when he talked about college education being affordable and about supporting the troops by making sure they had the right equipment, and by bringing them home and making sure they had health care benefits, etc, not having to wait in line at underfunded VA clinics, etc.
I got some pics with Lyn's camera. We were only on the 10th row, but it was just a bit too far for them to be very clear without a flash. I'll post some tonight.

13. Here's why you're wrong |
|
Giuliani lost in Florida because he never jumped into the race in a serious way. From the gitgo it was all just a chance for him to raise million of dollars so that he could sleep in fancy hotels around the country for a couple of months without doing any real work.
Clinton has fought a good, strong, tough-but-by-the-rules campaign. I hope she does throw in the towell after Obama clobbers her in Texas. But comparing her to Giulini is slimy and uncalled for. She's fought every inch of hte way and should be honored for her efforts and the leadership she's shown

15. Saying that doesn't give credit to how atrocious his campaign was. |
|
Now, Thompson, that I agree with; that guy ran exactly the "campaign" you're describing. But Ghoul fought for it. He started with a huge lead. He campaigned in Iowa, and his numbers plummeted, so he went to NH. He fought hard in NH, but his numbers plummeted; he decided he'd pull back and go for broke in FL. He had a huge lead there, and a lead in every big ST state; he knew that all he needed was one win in FL to prove he was viable. Unfortunately, when Rudy showed up in FL--and campaigned hard--his numbers plummeted. Rudy had perhaps the only campaign in history in which the harder the candidate campaigns for a state, the harder their numbers fall.

21. His first time voting |
|
His first time voting and he was able to cast a vote for Obama! I took a picture of him in front of the VOTE HERE sign. He and his future children will cherish this one day! I said dude, do you realize that your generation is actually voting for a man that is making history and is the BEST person for the job? I asked if he'd like to round up his friends and encourage them to go to early voting...he was like "No, they're Rethuglicans"......
