dramatic, and I'm loving it. The longer this goes on, the more faith in Obama I have. He'll be fine!
Sadly, I worry about the other Dem more than the rethug. :-(

6. I caught a bit of McCain's speech last night

and it was downright chilling... he was channeling Bush, but was much more scary. Then that weird smile inappropriately following a dire comment. His wife's eyes were freaking me out, and I had to change the channel.

8. More - the difference in how these two couples both got to this point is striking.

1. Obama never had family wealth to fund his political campaigns v. McCain's family funded his first campaign

2. Michelle doesn't have a trust fund (a punch line from her stump speech), she grew up on the south side of Chicago in a small brick apartment (a one-bedroom unit whose living room was trisected by fake wood paneling into bedrooms for Michelle and her brother, Craig Robinson, and a separate space for homework), both Obama's paid for college and law school with scholarships and loans only paid off three years ago v. Cindy's affluent life.

3. Obama's father and grandfather were not Admirals, his Dad was more like a ghost in his life since he left when Barack was two.

10. I think Cindy interjecting herself in attacking Michelle was a beautiful set-up

this is going to be a pleasure watching not only the white house change parties, but the huge coattails that Barack is going to have. I believe it will be a monumental change even before his first day in office.
