Why would someone with "experience" choose "Take a Chance on Me" as a campaign song?

Why would someone with "experience" choose "Take a Chance on Me" as a campaign song?
I mean, he's supposed to be tested and ready on day one, so why, theoretically, would we be "taking a chance"?

What I find funny is this is the second campaign song he's picked that the artist has asked him to stop using. No one seems to want to be associated with his campaign.
