This guy is the real deal, folks. There is nobody that can match up with him right now. I feel sorry for Clinton and McCain. He is on a roll and they are going to have to get out of the way or get run over.

Even blowing his nose, Obama gets applause

by John McCormick

DALLAS – It's probably safe to say that you have arrived as a politician when your audience applauds when you blow your nose.

Yes, just a day before a debate in Texas, Sen. Barack Obama has a head cold.

And about a half-hour into a speech here, the Illinois Democrat announced that he had to take a quick break. "Gotta blow my nose for a second here," Obama said.

Out came a Kleenex, and he wiped his nose.

The near-capacity audience of thousands at the Reunion Arena broke out in a slightly awkward applause.

Despite the cold, Obama's voice seems as strong as ever. He has a light schedule today and some time to rest up before his debate Thursday night with Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York.

38. He's got so many specifics in this its hurting my brain. Same in the one last night, but even TODAY
on MSNBC, the dufuss of an anchorwoman was still memeing the Watson Flap and asking the OBAMA SURROGATE if it didn't signify trouble for "lack of specifics" in a matchup with McCain.

Now.. even after the speech last night and the two prior to that and the pressers and the roundtables and the townhalls, this high-ranking Obama Staffer MADE AN EXCUSE for him not providing SPECIFICS.

Instead of just calling her on it and saying: WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? This crap has to end. Have they repeated this bullshit so much even WE are believing it? Call them on it, please ! Ask THEM to Prove to US there are no specifics.

SHOW US THE RHETORIC.. should be our refrain. PROVE to us he doesn't provide specifics. It is absurd when the Meme becomes Fact and we accept it. Enough already.

44. I think it was planned. There was nothing accidental or spur of the moment
about it. Because today, its the theme. No specifics. And they're using Watson to seque into it every time. And Obama campaign needs to shut it down, NOW.
