527 American Leadership Project Embraced By Hill Supporters?

Ed Schultz was talking today about the new American Leadership Project 527 that's been formed to slime Obama and back the Clinton campaign.

Schultz spoke w/ Bob Kerrey, who is backing Clinton, and Kerrey voiced his distaste for 527s and said this will put him at odds with the Clintons.

Taylor Marsh, a talker and hardcore Clinton supporter, just brought it up on her show.

She brought up the American Leadership Project and is sad she doesn't have an email and web address to give to her listeners so they can support the 527.

So ... while one Clinton Surrogate is sickened by it, Marsh embraces it. She's excited about it and wishes Hillary went that route a long time ago.

She seems to be the most outspoken supporter of Hillary and I think she's trumpeting the call for Hillary and the 527 smear machine that's going to make the Swiftboating of Kerry seem tame.

I'm not surprised by the Hillbot embrace of 527s and I think Obama will whether the storm.

2. There are different kinds of 527s

those like MoveOn.Org that are transparent and have a longterm mission and others like this one that can have only one of two possibilities

1) allowing maxed out contributors to circumvent the law

2) swiftboating

Regardless of which it is all ethical folks should be repulsed.

However there is a very bright side to this and that is it will motivate other wise party heads to start with the intervention to stop this charade. I would like to think that it helped the teamsters and boilermakers make their move.

Seriously, they may have just licensed it from news broadcasters or pulled it from the internet if high-res video images are available. But there's no way to tell (and I'm too lazy to go looking). you can bet they're not going to get sued for copyright violation by the Clinton campaign so that removes a major obstacle.

And furthermore how do you know what they will do. Are you clairvoyant? Obama's 527's sent out mailers telling people take one day and vote for him, all republicans and independents. Of course you wont mention that because it would make your post a moot point.

MoveOn was not formed on a dime to destroy Hillary, this 527 has been.

There's a huge difference.

If you read then you'll know that since last night the MSM has said Hillary's campaign has said they're going negative.

This 527 is supposed to the hitmen who don't have to adhere to the rules Hillary does.

MoveOn has their own agenda, they're almost like their own union.

This 527 for Hillary exists for one purpose and one purpose only, to take down Obama.

Even with that knowledge the Hillbots applaud.

No surprise, in that they're applauding Hillary's efforts to overthrow the DNC and get FL & MI delegates seated.

Her campaign is going GOP on us. Maybe she'll give Rove a job.

Because you have no proof what the 527 will do. Your going on what MSM says and that is your proof. Speaking of MoveOn, it's contributors are both Obama and Hillary supporters. However you ignore the negative campaigning of Obama supporters with there fliers. The most obvious thing about your post that glares of smear is calling us HILLBOTS. You're right, I don't know that this 527 will throw slime. I'm going by the reports of the MSM.

Even at that, I would not recommend giving to a 527 until you know if they reflect you're endorsement of their tactics. That goes for Hillary or Obama supporters.

I applaud former Sen. Kerrey's disappoval using 527s to game the system and sling mud. Good on Kerrey.

Bob Kerrey is a good man and a genuine patriot. He has just made a poor choice in Hillary Clinton.
