Well...look at the Bush/Cheney/Blair Tenure in Office and look at how many folks are "gone" because "they opposed the Iraq Invasion." What is coming forward to some of us after we've raged for SEVEN YEARS against "Bush/Cheney" is that The Clintons" didn't FIGHT Bush/Cheney FOUGHT...they ravaged the US CONSTITUTION...they "BROKE EVERY LAW ON THE BOOK...THE STACKED THE GOVERNMENT" with "CHILDREN OF GOD" from RW COLLEGES who knew NOTHING about our Constitution and Bill of Rights!

Bill and Hillary didn't FIGHT BACK...they USED US out HERE to COVER THEIR ASSES!" They came in and did a "lie low" when "Vince Foster" (whatever his problem was) killed himself...they allowed the Right Wing to blame Hillary for it. They allowed CIRCUS Atmosphere in the Congress with Dan Burton shooting Watermelons to simulate Hillary's "hit man" taking out Foster and all the rest of those "seedy days" that we want to forget...cigars and red lips and constant photos of the Monica/Bill Hug.

BUT...as I said at the beginning of this screed...BIll and Hillary could have SHUT THIS CRAP DOWN....they could have opposed Janet Reno's appointment (she enabled all the "sex stuff and fluff" to go forward) and they could have "hit the ground running" and shut it all down as FLUFF/PANDERING ...they could have even "nipped Gingrich in the bud" when he was mouthing off about taking over Congress..which he succeeded in doing!

Either the DLC was incompetent or the Clintons were. Or the DLC wanted the Clintons BECAUSE THEY WOULD BE INCOMPETENT.

I spent alot of time with many DU'ers DEFENDING THE CLINTONS against the VERY MEDIA they GAVE AWAY in the "'96 Media Consolidations ACT." What kind of President and First Lady would give AWAY TOTAL RIGHTS to a MEDIA who "Accused them of MURDER?"

I think it's BACKLASH....Dems are SICK OF IT ALL.

I would have been behind her every step of the way. I don't think the people of New York would have held it against her i she had stood up and denounced Bush as a great deceiver who had treated Congress with contempt. Well, she had her chance then and didn't take it. ow it'll work out for her, I'm not sure...but I was really disappointed when the best the Democratic party could come up with was Kerry.

He's a very nice guy and all, but he didn't exactly set the country on fire.
