Eh, Michelle isn't running for president
and I hate to see her turned into another Teresa Kerry.

But I can't say too much, because just like Chelsea she's put herself out there, and so if fair game.

But I'm sick of the Republican gotcha games. One word out of place and you're toast. Pfft. Didn't like it with Kerry and the botched joke. Don't like it now.

3. Chelsea and Michelle situation is different due to race and experience
All of this is Right Wing with alittle Dem Obama haters trying to find a way to bash this black woman because she isn't drinking the koolaid about how great this nation is suppose to be.

She said the truth and now people are calling into question her patriotism to America. I feel thats a slap in the face to not only her family but her ancestors who probably were slaves and worked and died hard in this country.

people who might have agreed are pouncing on her words because it helps their cause.

7. So, you approve of the savaging of Chelsea Clinton?
Explain what you mean by "situation is different due to race and experience".

Explain that. Fully. As it pertains to Chelsea Clinton.

8. And she was "savaged" how exactly?
People said unkind things? Was that the "savaging"?

Like I said, you enter the ring, you take your lumps, as long as you're of age. Mary Cheney, Michelle Obama, Chelsea Clinton.

9. Obama supporters wished she was sent to Iraq to get her limbs blown off.
And you know it. You read it and your probably chimed in with a thumbs-up to the idea.

Chelsea Clinton...for gawdsakes.

12. Nope. Not true.
I don't want anyone to get their limbs blown off or anything like that. My moms a retired cop and I know what its like to wait home with worry about your love one being killed etc. However I do think that I want to see more of the people who voted for this war to have their children if their names come up in a possible draft, go to war and not duck out of it. I just need these politicians to think about how they feel about their own kids going to war before they vote. Thats all. Thats all I want.

15. Well, you had better go over to Obama's website and read the plans
he has for our military.

He's certainly going to need more cannon fodder, so we may yet get a draft. I'd like someone to point out how he is different from McCain on this issue.

26. I don't believe she's on record for moving the war to Pakistan.
I just want everyone to know that voting for Obama (with one big anti-"dumb"-war speech under his belt) means a vote for perma war.

Go to his website and read his plans. You cannot keep saying that this guy is for peace. Add to that the fact that Brzezinski is his point man on this issue and voila, we have a recipe for disaster.

There will be a time in your life that crying "Hillary" is not going to do you any good at all.

No problem with her IWR vote? How about the Iran Resolution?

You're not worried about exactly how she's going to prove that she's strong on defense?

Nice little unfounded attack there. I believe your support for your candidate has warped your perspective.

10. Because I think many of MO's bashers are mainly inward racists
Edited on Thu Feb-21-08 12:52 AM by NJObamaWoman
thats why she getting bashed so hard right now. Its to make the Obama's black and to turn white voters off of them because its considered "more blacks crying about hardship in great America". They have to find a way to get through the Obama armor some how and thats their tactic.

I consider that a different situation than the Chelsea stuff because I don't think the bashers were bashing cause of race but more because she is a Clinton.

13. The Obamas made themselves black with the help of Jesse Jackson
Jr. by twisting the words of anyone who tries to make a point and crying racism.

It's hard to understand your signing on to bashing and verbal violence against anyone, as long as it's not on racist grounds.

20. Some people (in this country) paved the way for her to go to Harvard.
Could she not at least be proud of them. And it wasn't all blacks who fought the race wars.

The more you keep up this black versus white talk, the worse it's going to be for the country. Obama and his friends started it, they keep it going, and it doesn't look like they care if it causes a major sh*tstorm.

30. Yes and BLACK PEOPLE paved the way for MOST white people here
Edited on Thu Feb-21-08 01:34 AM by NJObamaWoman
Yes slaves paved the way for most white people here in this country. Those slaves worked hard in those fields to help the economy. Yet they haven't recieved a thank you nor have their children or their children's children and so on. No 40 acres or mule.

Yes those people paved the way for her to go to Harvard and Princeton and those same people have children who go to those schools and look at people like Michelle and other blacks as charity cases and inferior darkies.

See its people like you would don't want to deal with this talk. What I'm saying isn't just my feeling darling. There are many other Americans in this country that feel this way. Walking away from it like you want us to do is what is the problem. Its what is keeping this country divided. But again I live in reality. I see black children suffering in schools while schools with predominately white students continue to flourish. I see these things because I've been on both sides. I've lived in the hood and I grew up in the burbs. I got to see the disadvantages that many black children face in inner city schools compared to their white counterparts.

You keep it up with your rose colored glasses. But I'm going to keep talking about race until I see people EQUAL!!!

As I do for any of our Dems.

But Bill is a big boy too, same as Chelsea and Michelle and Teresa and Kerry's daughters. If you're of age, and you jump into the campaign, you take your lumps.
