3. I can remember when George Bush's incessant godtalk was a bad thing. |
|
For some reason the same thing is very good when it comes from Obama. Interesting.

8. I think we need a lot less godtalk in politics. |
|
Being one of those sodomites whom McClurkin says want to kill all the children, I tend to get worried when the politicians start washing themselves in the Blood of the Lamb.

2. Carl Bernstein wrote and says that Hillary Clinton |
|
expressed reservations about NAFTA to Bill Clinton during the time period when Al Gore was promoting NAFTA in a national debate with Ross Perot. So why aren't you blaming Al Gore for NAFTA? Obama wasn't around to vote on NAFTA at the time but he has been a strong free trade advocate, at least as much so as Hillary Clinton. And like a poster pointed out here on DU yesterday - his web site was recently scrubbed of his prior pro free trade policy positions now that he wants to proclaim his "leadership" against NAFTA.

4. Again HRC can't have it both ways, she was an active collaborator and wanted "Chief of Staff" |
|
but even Bill said that was a little over the top.
I don't think either First Ladies or First Gentlemen should be sitting in on Major Policy briefings, it's just too ... wrong. However, by her resume and although she was NOT Security Cleared for sensitive information, HRC claims to be Co-President.
Again, she can't have it both ways: The NAFTA albatross will remain around her (and the potential First Gentleman's) necks.
