27. You are kidding, right?
If Hillary can't get 53% against McCain in a heavy BLUE HOME state, then there is real cause for alarm.

Doesn't that mean that Democrats are crossing over to vote AGAINST Hillary?

Was just about to post this one. Obama does better against McCain than Hillary does, in her own home state. If that doesn't make the electability argument, I don't know what would.

5. Did Hillary REALLY win NY?

I'm starting to doubt it. MA, NH, NM and CA results are all suspect too.

10. Zero votes were recorded for Obama in several precincts with large black populations
I don't think Obama won in NY, but he came a LOT closer then originally recorded.

6. HRC's Senate seat is getting warmer by the day. You better believe it'll be contested
Carpetbaggers rarely do well in the long term. Before someone jumps on my ass about that remark, consider that HRC would not have even been eligible for in-state tuition due to residency requirements in NY when she ran for her senate seat.

11. At this point, the longer she stays in, the more likely it is she'll have a substantial challenge
in the primary for her Senate seat.

15. These early polls are trash.
They never are good predictors of the final result in the general. I am glad to see that both Democrats are well ahead and they both most likely would win in New York. However, it is foolish to give these extremely early polls any credence.

19. The argument that they point to a trend might be reasonable
but many need to be reminded that polls this early don't say very much about which candidate will end up performing better in the general.

22. If you don't think it says something about
the state of things that Obama beats McCainiac in Hillary's homestate by a greater margin than she does, you're flat wrong. They may be just a snapshot but that does NOT make them completely lacking in value.

24. They have no value.
There is no general election in New York until November. Possible match up polls are worthless, especially when the nomination process has not come to completion. This has been shown in election after election. At least wait until after the convention to start giving these things any credence.

Obama supporters have every right to be excited that their candidate is ahead in these polls. It's always better to be ahead than behind, but don't take these things too seriously.

and I thought that since she won those "big blue state" primaries that only she could win them in the GE.

29. According to the cross tabs
They both do equally well among Democrats, beating McCain 76-18. Among independents Obama leads McCain 48-44, while Clinton trails McCain 58-34 (a 28 point swing). Republicans favor McCain over both, 65-29 with Obama and 75-18 with Clinton (a 21 point swing).

I don't buy Survey USA at all. They have had both the Democrats losing to McCain is too many Blue states for me to believe it's accurate.
