Remember so many here saying McCain was hated by his party? Watch for the united front today. |

AS I've stated hundreds of times "Democrats fall in love, while Republicans fall in line."
Their feigning of hate for McCain was all just a ploy that many here fell for.
Much like Ann Coulter voting for Clinton if the McCain was the nominee. How many here fell for that one?
Watch for the "liberal media" accusations to fly left and right.
Let's see how the day unfolds and see if I'm right.

2. I doubt many here really "fell for it" |
|
It will come down to economics. And McCain is in a world of hurt there

3. Oh, sure. They'll rally. Let them--there's more leakers, and more bimboes out there |
|
that haven't surfaced yet. Let's get further into the campaign and see what happens.

4. You don't even have to wait for the day to unfold, they're already doing |
|
it. The NYTimes is being called the bad guy and having to prove themselves. McCain is being taken at his word, and this will do plenty to rally the right behind him. They hate the "librul media" way more than they hate McCain.
This is a benefit to McCain.

9. Was watching Morning Joe before work, and they were all over the |
|
idea that the NYTimes had no specifics and that it was all based on unnamed sources. Very much trashing the article, and not really questioning McCain's denials (except, believe it or not, Tweety. He's walking very carefully through this story.).
On the way into work, I was cruising through the talk radio stations and mostly, they're laughing about what liars the NY Times are, and, while not exactly being incredibly supportive of McCain, they are obviously giving him an opening.
It will be interesting to see what Limbaugh and Hannity have to say, though I do believe we can predict that one.

Rush and the MSM? We already know that'll happen, but it's the voters that matter.

13. But it could all backfire big time for them. |
|
If the Times is holding anything back - and I'm betting they are - it could go south real fast leaving Limbaugh and his merry band of hatemongers with egg on their faces. Let's face it, it's not like McCain hasn't done this before. Maybe the first wife will weigh in.

sickened by this story? I'm sorry, but this thing has "swift boat" written all over it. I don't like when these hit pieces are done to our candidates (anonymous sources, decade-old stories, etc.) and I feel the same if it's done to a repuke. Unless there is some sort of credible evidence to back this up -- named witnesses, photos, video, etc. -- I honestly don't care. Reminds me of that idiot Michelle Malkin......"some" people say John Kerry shot himself during the war, I'm not saying that, "some" people are. I think it's one of the few times I liked Chris Matthews when he tore into her on that crap.
