2. I'm not the least bit 'concerned' over her gaffe. She stepped in it. That's her problem not mine. |

Any real Democrat who cares at all about November, should care about that gaffe.
Don't get so wrapped up in your sports team like mentality, that you lose all sense of reasoning ability, objectivity and critical thinking skills. :hi:

foot in mouth disease. If Obama wins the nomination we all know that Michelle's statement will be put in every commercial. If Hillary wins, look for an endless cycle of his fairy tale gaffe. neocons are not the most original bunch, I can tell you exactly what they will say. McCain will have more than his fair share before all is said and done.

First of all, I fail to see how the 'fairy tale gaffe' could ever be used in a million years during a Hillary vs McCain campaign. Second of all, it wasn't a gaffe to begin with. Third of all, nothing Bill or Hillary have said so far could be used with that much damaging potential as what Michelle had said.

26. That wasn't scripted, it was an off the cuff gaffe. This is how it can be used against him... |

Voice over: In 1993, as first lady, Hillary Clinton promised to deliver a socialist health care system with the help of the President, her husband Bill Clinton. She delivered a 1000 page bill which members of her own party rejected.
Professor Martha Derthick testifying before Congress stated that "I have never read an official document that seemed so suffused with coercion and political naivete"
Cue in Congressional testimony video
Democratic Senator Daniel Moynihan of Illinois agreed and added "there is no health care crisis" by stating "there is an insurance crisis" but also indicated "anyone who thinks can work in the real world as presently written isn't living in it."
Freeze and darken frame.
Put quote here of Hillary stating new health care crisis.
Cue up fairy-tale quote.
I put this together in two minutes.
Think of what someone could do if they actually put time into it.

29. Often you find people who find or claim outrage about personality conflicts..... |
|
have it in themselves. The family values crowd is brings prime examples of the phenomena daily. It comes more from a place of fear of marginalization and fear of change. If more people would stop trying to be everyone mother or father and live their own life we could go forward more easily. Living the life of one parents might help their parents disposition but it won't help the person doing it. We need to come to terms with ourselves before we can come to terms with others. Or rephrased slightly how could we agree with others when we find it hard to agree with ourselves

12. You missed one- How about Hillary supporters who do not find it an unforgivable gaffe? |
|
I am rational enough to see it for what it was. Her words came out wrong. She is wise enough to learn from it.
The pukes are going to run with it. As a Democrat, I find those on our side who Lambaste her for it to be full of faux outrage.
Instead of helping the RW, how about banding together and saying "We know what she meant and we aren't going to allow you to spin it into something it isn't.

I really don't think Presidential elections are lost by what the candidates spouse says in February. They're lost by what the candidate says and does in October.

Wow. That shows where DU really stands. But you wouldn't know it by reading the numerous anti Obama threads started by small but vocal minority at DU.
A lot of Hillary supporter are grasping at any straw in an attempt to prop up her bankrupt campaign. Instead they should be working to unite the party behind Obama so that we can be sure to get a Dem in the White House in 2009.
