So you think the McCain thing is the best thing since sliced bread?
Well, it's really not.

This positions McCain as the "victim" of a years old...what? Hanging around with a chick? He is going in and he's not going to give an inch,(no pun intended). Pig Boy and his pals are attacking him, so this endears him ever so much more to moderates that HATE Pig Boy and the usual suspects. In a perverse way, it also gives him some ammunition against the doddering old guy persona.

If he was caught in the last year doing this, then we may have something that would stick. Not this. Not in an Obama's most delirious dreams.

He got away with the Keating five the last time he ran, and also his wife's drug "issues".

It's a tidbit. It will be gone very soon. The more Pig Boy yells about him, the more the moderates will flock to him.

1. You ARE joking, right?
All they will have to do is drag out all those spit-swapping pictures of McCain and the Shrub, and all of McCain's
blind backing of Bush's policies, and McCain will sink like a rock. The only reason he's the presumptive nominee
is that the GOP has cycled through everyone else. He's all that remains.

He's also an old man with one bout with cancer behind him. He has a horrendous temper, is a bad debater ... my god,
the deficits are astounding.

2. Yep
I think you're right. This only makes him look more virile, well sort of ROFL, and since it was The NY Times that pushed it, the RWers will soon rush to his side.

7. the OP hates Obama more than McCain, that much is obvious
This person is not really a democrat. A democrat would never be so vicious to another democrat and yet give a free pass to a scandal of a wing nut.

McCain a free pass. Real democrats would never do that. I see where your loyalties lie. and its ugly.

The "wife" thing? Sorry I did not get the word parsing excrutiating back story from Obama HQ.

The only person that I have prove my credentials as a Democrat are the owner of this site. If he wants it, I will gladly supply it.

But really is this out of character for Obama supporters? Is it? Everyone is suspect? No one comes up to your standards.

20. Oh please. You're such a joke. You make a big deal out of Michelles comment and yet
want to give McCain a free ride on his lobbyist sex scandal which is MILES bigger deal than Michelles comment about being proud of her country. Anyone can gather from YOUR posts that you want Obama to lose to McCain b/c hes beating your candidate. Its desperate and childish. With "democrats" like these, we sure don't need repugs.

27. If you are going to write my bio, try to get some facts right.
I was a Gore supporter.

Then when Gore made his decision, after seeing Edwards at the debate, I threw my support behind him.

Then he left, and after Hillary made what I think were very important points in the debate with Obama, I support her.

I have ALWAYS said that I would vote for the Democratic nominee no matter what.

That changed drastically after some of the most heinous items posted about Hillary and the constant attacks against all that even questioned Obama; attacks that are just insane. I posted that I would not vote for any one for president. All Democrats in all other contests always will and would get my vote. Not Hillary, Not Obama. I was hoping that the Obama supporters would be even a little reasonable, but the attacks and gloating are sickening.

I am rethinking not voting for a president. Every vote counts. So here we are again, getting attacked for saying that we should not underestimate a guy like McCain, and saying if the Obmama supporters don't stop reading everything as certification from on high that they are the chosen, there are people who will chose otherwise. Otherwise being McCain, even with this relatively small item.

31. Ok i'm sorry, thanks for clarifying that.
I will give you the benefit of the doubt. However there are some "hillary supporters" that are complimenting McCain saying they were impressed by the way he answered questions in the press conference today and under the same breath insulting Obama. :eyes: The vast majority of Hillary supporters are good ppl, there are some that are relentless and thats whats annoying to me.

18. oh hell yes, let's bring the same old chit that bush did against
McCain in 2000 and shout on the roof tops that McCain fathered a black baby and McCain was given a free pass in the Keating case. Damn! Have all you obama folks had so much damn wax in your ears that you do not realize the same whoremedia that is giving obama a free pass during this campaign are the same whoremedia that has cleared McCain of all the crap that happened before hand. Hell, even Bob Bennett, a democrat who was the legal counsel going after McCain in the Keating case told the Democratic lead committee that he could not find anything against McCain and urged the committee to take McCain off the list, but the dems did not but later on cleared both McCain and Senator John Glenn....

If you obama folks believe this is good news then you are in for a surprise as this crap especially the nywhore times article today could actually help McCain.....

34. Republican moderates will come home to McCain. That's our problem.
He will get their votes. Arizona is a lock for him, no matter what polls say. Living here with very moderate republicans, many a conversation has ended with them giving their vote to him. It's not that they are fans of the war, our candidates scare them. So they go with the evil they know.

26. Scandals only hurt our candidates
It is amazing isn't it? Half the problem is with us. We are always seeing the victim and forgetting the fight.

The point is not to use one issue to bring him down. The objective is to put his campaign on the defensive and keep it there. This is a good start. Let's roll!
