In for a penny in for...Holy Freaking Jeebus, $43.2 MILLION!
Rawstory.com:Romney spent $42.3 million of own money on losing bid

This explains his IMMENSE popularity. Some people are too rich. Fortunately we're about to remedy that.

1. Blood money, all of it.
He made that fortune by buying up going concerns, often through hostile takeovers, firing the workers, raiding the pension plan, and selling off the company assets, because the sum of the parts often added up to a very nice payday.

He is a vicious bastard. I hope they catch him 'in flagrante delicto' somewhere, to add to his woes.

2. That's obscene.
Think how much good that kind of money would do if it were spent in a sane way. This makes me want to puke.

7. Swear to God, four years from now I'm gonna wait for the next Steve Forbes vanity Pug...

...and I'm gonna sell him a bill of goods. Buy me an extra couple of land lines, call myself a pollster who can reach out to the "purple state suburban soccer mom" demographic and pull down a couple grand profit. If these second-generation millionaire monkeys wanna blow their endowments to become president, I'll be glad to help 'em take a load off their wallets.
