Hispanics in Univision Forums tilting to Obama
I am a registered member of the Univision Forums. In the Forum "Politics and USA Elections" Hillary Clinton has had tremendous advantages since she announced her candidacy last year. She had a lot of support among the Hispanics in Univision, but over the last two weeks I have noticed a surge of support for Barack Obama to the point that the topics dealing with Obama are the most popular. Unfortunately, the Hispanic supporters of Hillary Clinton have become unhinged and are hurling insults to the Obama supporters. Univision is the largest Television and Radio conglomerate among Hispanics in the USA and is co-sponsoring (with CNN) tonight's debate in Texas. Obama has been getting very good press from Univision (and Telemundo, too) and that is why we have seen the excitement for Obama grow in Univision Foros, especially among the young Latinos.

5. LOL....
thanks for this uplifting update. I've been concerned about Obama's outreach within the latino community, but i've been encouraged by the exit polls from the last few contests. and to hear your news, just makes me feel all the better.

By the way, Welcome to DU :hi:

3. Go Bama...I think the young hispanics are siding up with the Obama Camp..and that's good because..
Hispanics 30 and younger make up a great deal of Latinos in Texas

4. Interesting
"Unfortunately, the Hispanic supporters of Hillary Clinton have become unhinged and are hurling insults to the Obama supporters."

Except for the word "Hispanic", this sounds just like it could be the GD-Primaries forum!
