I find this hard to understand. They both speak rationally and well.

difficulty convincing myself.

Let's just say I liked them better after the last debate.

Don't you like the prissy white lady pandering to us little people? I miss the days when it was not just these two on the debate stage. These two are both guilty of blowing sunshine up our butts. I am sick of them and I am sick of the Dems fighting each other over them.

32. I am watching a rerun of "Home Improvement" on Nick.
I just can not stand this any more. Whatever will be...will be. I have had to take that attitude or I am going to explode. After so many years of the Bush Administration, I can not believe we are letting the media choose our President again. They did this with Bush twice and now we may be seeing the same thing happen with Obama. She is the bitch and he is the Saint. Case closed. Move along.

BUT -- this Edwards Democrat believes that John would have cleaned the floor with both of them and with both hands tied behind his back.

31. Sad to see so many democrats who don't care for either candidate
The reasons that I see so far is that they are poor at debating and corporate sellouts. I've never understood the corporate sellout accusation, and would appreciate if someone explained it to me.

36. I'm sad you're sad. Really I am.
I just 'googled' military industrial complex.

First up is a wiki article.

Second is Dwight D. Eisenhower's speech that made the phrase current.

Third is a Chalmers Johnson site.

Good starts on research into corporate selling out.

52. I'm STILL In Mourning, Depressed and Desperately Miss John Edwards!
I didn't watch the debates, I don't watch much MSM anymore. I'm on the outside looking in, but not really looking!

America missed a GREAT chance! I myself think John Edwards would have been the VERY best, but there were others who would have been BETTER than what we have now! I really liked Biden & Kucinich too, but here we are. Call me names, say what you will... but I have NO enthusiasm for this, whatever IT IS that's going on. It sure doesn't seem like an election for POTUS to me. Glitz, glamor and going Ga, Ga doesn't do it for me.

JMHO...

53. Hell yes (Kucinich & then Edwards supporter)
I even wish YOUR candidate were still in the race :'(

But let's look at the bright side - either of the two front runners are miles ahead of their Republican counterparts - superiour on the issues, in competence, in charm, looks and intelligence, just... better all round.

As sorry as I feel for you and me and all the other supporters of the Democratic "runners up", I reserve my deepest sympathy for the die-hard Republican party loyalists.
