I would have much preferred to vote for Edwards, but since he dropped out, that was one of the determining factors in my vote. Her last answer tonight was the most heartfelt answer I have heard from either of the two remaining candidates. I hope John Edwards was watching.

1. what do you mean "it isn't about them"? Its about Bill and Hillary.
And after her statement tonight in closing, I think its probably a little bit more about Bill, at least as to how her campaign has been run.

8. Do you still hold John Kerry's vote for IWR against him?
Double standard, as usual.

9. I do. Kerry's a puppet.
I voted for him, but only because next to Shrub, ANYONE is an improvement.

10. Kerry isn't running for president, and he apologized quite awhile ago. She didn't.
Big difference imo.

And I respect Kerry for doing so, as I'd respect Clinton if she had thought an apology was important.

John Edwards also apologized iirc.

14. She has NEVER apologized. * eventually admitted he's made 'mistakes'.
But maybe only one or two times...

17. I don't think Kerry or Edwards has said "I am sorry" or "I appologize"
They said that it was a mistake. But if you can provide a link? Maybe Kerry said it recently, but I haven't paid much attention to him since the primary season got into full swing.

21. They BOTH apologized years ago, in very eloquent speeches.
YOU look it up since you're making the assertion. Trust me, they've apologized.

18. Yes, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt
Because I refuse to accuse anyone who served in the military and saw his comrades die in battle of voting to send soldiers into harm's way purely for political reasons.

I think Kerry managed to convince himself that it was the right vote, and if you listened closely to his rationale, it made sense to some degree. But I was more disappointed in him than anyone else for voting for it, because he had the credibility to oppose it.

The day they cast that vote, I was shocked to see that Kerry had voted for it, and I remember saying to my grandfather on that day "John Kerry just gave up his chance to become president". To this day, I still believe I was right.

23. That's not my only issue. I don't trust her. How can someone want
'universal' healthcare, or is that insurance, for everyone, when they won't disown lobbyists? It's not possible. If it is, I welcome your argument.

3. I've tried to say this in other posts.
She, as my Senator, really has made a difference in my life and my family's...no bs here...she is my Senator and MY public servant....she really does understand civics.

It's ALL about them. And then she goes off into some canned answer she's had prepared for years.

while Obama is always saying "we"?

13. The other day someone on here was bashing her for saying 'we'
claiming she was referring to herself and Bill. You guys continually bash. Just because she gave a heartfelt closing and got a standing ovation, you just can't stand it. If for no other reason, I hope BO loses.

15. However if Obama had used that line
Hillary would have alleged that he had xeroxed one of John Edwards's speeches.

I have been trying to stay out of this since I can and will vote for either one. However, Hillary is really making the decision easy for me.

24. I didn't know much about her
before Iowa but I'd heard it said that once people get to know her?All the rhetoric and propaganda about her flies out the window, she makes you see her for who she really is.And in the end people like her.

I don't just like her I believe in her.I think she is geniune and cares deeply. And I think she would be an amazing President.I am absolutly thrilled to be able to vote for her.

She will be brilliant.

30. If John Edwards was watching, he would've found her last statement to be very familiar....
it was his statement at the end of the debate on December 13th.

The reason you liked it so much tonight is because it WAS an Edwards comment.

32. I know that.
Clinton gave Edwards credit repeatedly tonight, Obama did no such thing. Clinton was making a point to include Edwards' message. That is a huge plus with me.
