A curious thought.....
I went to Obama's website and to Clinton's website. On both, you can enter your zip code and find events near that zip code. On both, I entered my zip code, and a 100 mile radius. I got 30 events on Obama's website, and only 2 on Clinton's. Granted, some of these "events" were like early voting parties at Democratic headquarters and were pretty general, or not specifically for Obama, but Clinton didn't offer them on her site. I thought this was curious, and wanted to see what DU thought.

1. He has a better ground organization.
But, I have to say on Monday and Tuesday I got two calls from Hillary's campaign asking for my vote. No one from Obama called me.

2. It shows a lack of organization on the Clinton part
Obama seems to have his ear to the ground or his organization does.

8. But with Texas so crucial to her
why would her campaign let this slip?

3. It's pretty simple - the Clinton campaigned thought she would have the nomination by now.
No "Plan B", in other words.

7. They have said as much themselves.
They can't believe it isn't over now. She has some dunces in her inner circle.

9. Yet she started out with a lot more money. But she wasted it.

4. Sadly Hillary's campaign is flawed.... they never thought that
Edited on Thu Feb-21-08 11:07 PM by MadMaddie
she would have competition at this point...they miscalculated. (I voted for her in the WA caucus so I am not bashing here just stating a fact).

Your story isn't the first time I have heard this. I think that Hillary's campaign managers banked on the big donars, big super-delegates and no competition......in other words there was no mitigation plan.

My trade is Project Management and you always, always have a mitigation plan.
