Obama "the victim" messiah
"He walks into a room and you want to follow him somewhere, anywhere," George Clooney

"I'll do whatever he says to do. I'll collect paper cups off the ground to make his pathway clear." Halle Berry

The "Is Barack Obama the Messiah?" Blog http://obamamessiah.blogspot.com/
With entries like "Politics doesn't even begin to describe it. A visit to an Obama rally is a pilgrimage" and "Masses Break Out in Hymn To Obama"

"It's almost like the Messiah. You feel something coming from him." Jan Young, a 56-year-old convert from Hillary Clinton

"I believe he is The One." Oprah

"It's the sense that you're in the presence of someone who is touched with the gift of grace," says Ross Baker, a political scientist at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J.

But, watch out if you challenge his positions or policies ... cuz, you'll be accused of "attacking" the poor man. Give us all a break!!!

didn't she credit him? Little hilary and her victimhood would do well to quit being such a fucking hypocrite.

Everyone is picking on him. It's so unfair. Asking him about issues?

How dare they!!!!

when she said "This is personal for me"...a classic and oft-repeated John Edwards line

I sat there and rubbed my eyes....I had just seen her talking about Xerox machines in reference to her opponent.

26. No, no, he's beyond MERE perfection; he's sublime
It's quite irritating to us mortals mucking about down here in this pesky reality, but we can take comfort that our fellow lefties are having a multiple Obamagasm like none ever felt, and that even if it leads to electoral disaster, they'll at least have touched the face of god.

Scared? Sorta. Disgusted? Very.

Obama will teach the spirit of Ohana to all America.

You need to hear his story, then you too will understand and want to join the movement.

I saw the TV show and I was hooked. Obama is going to be the greatest leader this nation has ever seen. We're going to witness history turn a page.

18. The Pied Piper
Remember: extreme irrational love spurs extreme resistance.

More than anything, it's dangerous to hear supporters completely dismiss any criticism of tactical errors. Zealots just can't believe that you wouldn't "get it" too if you just heard it enough. When a proselyte tells me that I just haven't heard "the word" he/she is invariable stopped mid-rant to hear that not only have I, but I've heard it a lot and STILL don't buy the product.

We can lose. It's very possible. This is depressing.

It's also tiresome, sanctimonious, arrogant, self-indulgent, reckless and embarrassing.

Doesn't look good, does it?

I voted for Kucinich in my primary... not HRC or Obama.

Sorry if Obama can't take a little "straight talk."

But I do hope a Dem wins the election.

I just hope all the new voters aren't disillusioned in Jan. 2010.

29. Here's the "change" you're facing, Obamatrons --
Now, during the Primaries, you have to deal with disgruntled Hillarites calling Obama a "messiah" to make a point about the nature of his campaign.

If he wins the nomination, during the General Election, you'll have to deal with disgruntled Repubs calling Obama the ANTICHRIST -- and believing it! Just wait until the antichrist emails start circulating. You'll long for the days when it was all about hands over hearts during the Pledge.
