Poll question: Would Hillary (or Obama) accept the VP slot? |
|
Assuming Obama is our nominee, I'd wager he would at least ask Hillary if she was interested. The very act of asking her would be a resonable expectation among many, but would she accept?
What do you think?
p.s. OK, added Obama VP choices as well -out of courtesy- but I still think Obama will be our nominee.:hi:

Does he really want the Clinton soap opera following him around for 4 years?

2. Do you think he would feel an obligation to ask her? |
|
Only because the "dream ticket" question has come up a couple of times. I'm not advocating it - I just wonder if there would be pressure for him to ask her - even as a courtesy?

4. Oh yeah, I'm sure those plagiarism charges really make him feel duty-bound |
|
At the end of the day, it's a bad political move. You don't take the most charismatic candidate to run in our lifetimes and saddle him with someone who's THAT disliked by so many people.

9. I don't think he should choose his V.P. based upon some meme pushed |

5. He will ask her after being assured she will turn him down. Politically they |
|
have to do the dance to save the party. But he doesn't want or need her and she's too proud to accept. It may not be "officially" announced but it will be a story--like Kerry asking McCain.

Just for looks even, I think that dance will happen. A debate or so ago, remember how the audience cheered when the question was asked - "would you consider (either/or) for VP"?
I don't think Hillary would want the job, but I do think many Hil supporters would be pissed off if Obama did not at least ask.

6. It depends on how the party reacts to one winning |
|
Will the party rally behind the nominee or will there still be many folks upset about the result like on the rethug side? If it is the latter then a party unity ticket may be in the cards. If it is the former Obama and Hillary will discard each other as soon as possible. Don't buy the fake love on the stage tonight.

8. Unless Hillary gets a miracle she's out! |
|
She will not accept a VP job so it's unlikely they'll be a team.
