Let's all stomp on Hillary, it's fun!
And, with Obama the Great One, leading the way ....

"He walks into a room and you want to follow him somewhere, anywhere," George Clooney

"I'll do whatever he says to do. I'll collect paper cups off the ground to make his pathway clear." Halle Berry

The "Is Barack Obama the Messiah?" Blog http://obamamessiah.blogspot.com/
With entries like "Politics doesn't even begin to describe it. A visit to an Obama rally is a pilgrimage" and "Masses Break Out in Hymn To Obama"

"It's almost like the Messiah. You feel something coming from him." Jan Young, a 56-year-old convert from Hillary Clinton

"I believe he is The One." Oprah

"It's the sense that you're in the presence of someone who is touched with the gift of grace," says Ross Baker, a political scientist at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J.

It's so darn easy to dismiss logic, facts, common sense, and experience.

After all ... she's just a woman!

10. Why does it always have to be about her being a woman?
Maybe people just don't fully trust her as a person. Beyond her skin color, beyond her gender, but as a human being.

With as many politicians have promised things, yet never came through, why wouldn't you expect people to start voting based on who they liked the most as a person?

11. Why does he come off as such a doofus in the debates, stumbling
with his answers, copying what Hillary said and not even focusing on the question?

If he's such a great leader, why hasn't he organized the senate to begin a huge movement for one of our crisis issues already? Because he's not, that's why.

30. He comes off as smarter and sharper than Hilly.
He's got more facts at his fingertips, and he's got a much better record to elaborate on. Hilly is not the "wonk" she billed herself as; apart from slogans and gotchas fed to her before each debate, her grasp of policy is surprisingly weak.

Didn't she flunk the bar exam in DC?

19. One thing I can thank Obama for
he has just about turned me off of politics. I am beginning to think that it is a big waste of time (and money) when I don't matter anyway.
I never used to miss Keith. But he let a lie stand last week against Clinton and didn't apologize even when I emailed the truth--backed up by credible evidence. I haven't turned him on since and I most likely will not for a very long time.
The wounds that this process have inflicted have gone deep.
Truth used to mean something here. It was the first casualty.
We USED to be choosy about sources...but now, any old one will do if it conveys the hate/worship for the candidate we are looking to hate/worship.
I hear more RW idealogy touted here than I have heard on any "MSM" source.
People even want to fucking tell me how to vote???
I have had to put DU'ers that I have ALWAYS deeply admired on ignore because they have become so rabid that rational conversation cannot exist.
I am tired of fighting for a party that does not fight for me. For that, I can thank Obama (and his supporters get an honorable mention).

27. You're repeating yourself.
You claim Hillary's a victim, and then you post this:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=4708981&mesg_id=4708981

The mind boggles. I haven't decided on either candidate, but some of the stuff around here is truly insane.
